I just watched it a few times. That is a catch you’d like him to make. The average NFL TE catches that about 65% of the time. It’s certainly not an easy catch.
On a ball like that, over your left shoulder and at the edge of your reach, you would like to be coming off your left foot, which would extend your right arm reach, and that was the limiting factor on that catch. That would result in your hips rotating CCW as viewed from above. Foster’s right foot was driving, rotating his hips CW and away from the ball. That little difference is probably an inch or two of reach and was the difference.
He still should have caught it, but that best foot/worst foot is what dropped this from whatever, a 95% catch to a 65% catch.

I would say he cost the Saints a chance to play in overtime or to have a chance to win by attempting a two-point play.

Saints should be in tank mode at this point. There will be some decent qb's available in the draft. The Saints will never win with Carr at qb. He is what he is. Qb's like him are peppered all over the NFL.

I really want to stick behind Moreau here since he is a tiger. But that story of him being an absolute dickhead to a random guy in a bar was so bad. Dude is an absolute douchebag. I mean he fits the word perfectly
