eric alexander was with the patriots in 2004, although on injured reserve for the playoffs.

ETA: 2004 regular season, 2005 Super Bowl.

Kinchen was the long-snapper for the
Patriots last ring.

Robiskie won at least one with the Raiders as a player before going in to coaching.

Robiske won at least one ...

Wrong.

Robiske's rookie year was 1977 - the year after the Raiders beat the Vikings in the Superbowl.

Robiske left the Raiders after the 1979 season and played his final two years for Miami.

The Raiders won the Super Bowl again after the 1980 season.

I thought he played for the Chefs when they beat the Vikings, but he didn't.

Was David LaFleur on any of the Cowboys SB teams?

What about Booger McFarland at Tampa Bay? And wasn't he on Colts roster for their SB 2 years ago?

Was Mark Roman with the Broncos when they won their SBs, or was it Tory James?

Warren Capone was on the 1975 Cowboys' roster for 5 games - the team that lost 21-17 to Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl.

He was not on the roster for the Super Bowl.

David Lafleur played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1997-2000 - three losing seasons and one where the Arizona Cardinals bounced them out in the wildcard round.

He didn't come close to a Super Bowl.

Booger McFarland was one of the first players mentioned on this thread.

Clark joined the Steelers in '06
Unless he joined during the playoffs, then he missed their SuperBowl. The Steelers won the January '06 SuperBowl, after the 2005 season. The Colts won it after the 2006 season, the Giants won it after the 2007 season, and now the Steelers are going to win it again after the 2008 season!

Leonard Marshall & Greg Jackson were both on the 1990 NYG

I think Marshall was NFL Defensive Lineman of the Year for the '87 Super Bowl win where he got a couple of sacks.

Some loveable Super Bowl losers from the 80's included Woodley (Dolphins), Duhe (Dolphins), Charles Alexander (Bengals), and Gene Lang (Broncos), I think.

Art Cantrell and Warren Capone played for the Birmingham Americans in 1974 of the World Football League and the Americans defeated Jack Pardee's Florida Blazers 22-21 in the one and only World Bowl, the 'Super Bowl' for the WFL,which folded in the middle of the 1975 season.
