Have any of them come out and directly said that Les controlled them completely after they left LSU?

I don't know any quotes directly but I seem to recall Jimbo not being too fond of that. Granted the offense we ran those couple years and today is night and day

I'm just curious because we all talk about it being "Miles' offense" (and it appears that it is, but is there any real proof that backs this up other than it just looks like it's his offense.

Widely known at OSU that stress bwtween Gundy and miles was due to Les overriding play calls at times. Same reason the offense doesn't change with coordinator. Les firmly believes in old school football and it's also the reason the game has passed him by now.

Crowton specifically said "that wasn't my offense"

Edit: "In a 50-minute interview, Crowton said bluntly that "No, it wasn't my offense" at LSU and that it would be unfair to make assessments based soley on those four years." LINK

If you need proof of Les Miles offense:

Etling comes in- runs what appears to be pure Cam Cameron offense. Leads LSU to 4 straight TD drives. Mixed in several passes to TE's, several screens to RB's. It was almost like watching San Diego with Rivers/Brees, Tomlinson and Gates

Etling pre-halftime:
6/8 100 yards 1 TD

--- HALFTIME ---

Etling after half, 0/6 1 INT. Play calling back into I Form Les Miles O. Drives after halftime ended as follows:

1) interception
2) punt
3) Touchdown
4) Fumble
5) Punt
6) end of half

Miles got involved after halftime. Likely after Etling's pick. We have all the data we need to make an assessment.

Gundy, Fisher, and Crowton all criticized Miles' offensive strategy, etc.

And Crowton won an award for best coordinator in the nation when he was at LSU. I wonder who's offense it was when he was determined the best coordinator in the country.

So no credit to Jax St for making halftime adjustments?
