At UCLA now, playing Oregon State tonight. He was a 5-star and he is horrible. Garrett Green is better than him and it's not a question.

He looks like one of those foreign players that is just learning the game, running around all crazy waiving his arms.

UCLA has been decimated by injury, with only 8 available scholarship players and he still can't get a starting job.

i never even understood why he and ucla were so high on one another. he really just doesn't fit what they do. and yeah they aren't very good this year either it seems.

My buddy saw him play in a small tournament and said he was totally unimpressive.

I haven't seen the guy play, but are you serious?

I've criticized TJ a bit for his recruits on the current team but his best move appears to have told Morgan and his AAU pimp to hit the bricks.

That's all we would need is another kid that can't play.

Might have turned out different with a coaching staff that has sent eight bigs to the NBA.

Is it bad to take pleasure in this? Am I a bad person?

Yeah, that's probably Morgan's problem. Ben Howland and the rest of UCLA's staff doesn't know how to coach. It's definitely not that he sucks.

Your level of pathetic-ness never ceases to amaze me. Let the record show that you interjected Brady into this thread, even if it wasn't by name. Your schtick is always that you are just defending Brady. This thread had nothing to do with him.

I'm sorry, but I refuse to believe this. Can we just say they're equally shitty? Morgan was a 5-star so therefore had higher expectations, but GG is so bad that he's now scored 6 points twice and people are going ape shite about how he's not bad.

Believe what you want. I have seen both play on numerous occasions and I'm telling you that Green is better than Morgan.

Green has also had a lot more opportunity to play. By no means am I saying Morgan is good, I watched a couple of games of his in high school and thought "the guy isn't impressive at all." But just assumed I knew nothing because he was a 5-star. Then I watched some of teh game against Ore St and you're right, we're definitely not missing anything in him.

Garrett Green is one of the most spastic players I've ever witnessed and just because he can occassionally get a wide open dunk, does not mean he's good to me. He averages like .3 points more than Morgan and like half a rebound more, yet has had many more opportunities. Just my opinion, of course.

Just having a little fun, knew it would get you going. I would bet Brady has more bigs in the NBA than Howland. Just saying.

The bigger question is why was he rated a top 25 prospect when you and others report he was nothing special when you saw him play in high school.

I never saw him play in high school.

And having more bigs in the NBA does nothing for you except getting a pat on the back, or a job at Arkansas State.
