Lambo was my dude. This hurts my heart. Played ball and partied with him. I remember the red camero he used to pimp back in like 1999 lol. Damn this sucks.

I use to run with him in high school. He was nuts and always kept me laughing.
We played park ball together as kids, high school against each other in the catholic league, graduated the same year, played against each other in college a little. I just spoke with him not too long ago. He was a good friend, a good dude.
He will be missed.

RIP buddy!

I'm sure the family would prefer the cause not to go public. I will stay silent. It doesn't matter anyway! He's too young to die. Jeff and I were good buddies. Many good times together at Rummel and LSU.

I could make some guesses based on the lifestyle I remember him having but I won't. Super super cool dude. Always laughing. Loved to break balls. Had kind of a caveman voice and mentality. Sux to hear.

I am probably the only one in our family that uses this site consistently, and I just wanted to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers. I have shared the good memories people have posted about Jeff, and they have brought great joy to my family during this tough time. Jeff was an amazing athlete and an even better person. He will be missed tremendously.

I looked up to him growing up playing in Jefferson Parish, then in the Catholic League. He was always a big, athletic moose. I was several years behind him and didn't have the chance to play against him when we were younger, but we crossed paths in college when he was at Auburn-Montgomery. Before they came to town (I was not in Nola at the time, so nobody else was familiar with him), I warned our pitching staff to be careful with him. He hit 3 HRs in that game. I just remember chuckling in the dugout about it all "I told you so". I saw him recently and he looked like a totally different person but very much the same personality. I never really knew him personally other than a "what up, baw" when we saw each other and chit chatted about ball. I have at least 5 other really entertaining stories told by other people, but this is neither the time nor the place. RIP Lambo.
