Love me some ron brooks.

Can't believe him and Brandon Taylor were the least talked about players in that secondary. That's nuts.

Brooks was actually the fastest DB of that group.

Yeah he had wheels.

Claiborne, Peterson, Reid, Taylor, Brooks, Mathieu are all starting in the league when healthy.

Minus peterson they all started together.

It seems like every time he gets his hands on the football, he takes it for 6. He's oddly consistent.

Nice job keeping his eyes on the play that seemed to be just about over

Ron Brooks was one of my favorite Tigers. He stayed till his Senior season even though he wasn't a starter. He got better every year and became a major contributor. So many other players sulk or transfer if they get passed on the depth chart by younger guys. Not Brooks. He never started but we all knew he was great. Now, he is in the NFL.

We need more guys like Ron Brooks and James Wright. I am hoping that Ronnie Feist turns out like that too. If Beckwith goes pro, Feist might be our starting MLB next year as a Senior. These are good stories for the program when guys come in and don't start right away and think about giving up or transferring.
