If only JJ hadn't gotten kicked off of the Montreal team him and Lee could have gone head to head and we could finally settle this.

As a former resident of B.C, I'm really happy that Jarrett signed with the Lions.
The CFL is a game of smaller guys, speed & bigger field, only three downs, much faster and to me a funner game. NFL is less about finesse, more about muscle and weight.
Ask Doug Flutie.
Vancouver will love him, and it's a great city to live in. Good for him.
Can't compare CFL to NFL, too different , but maybe more "purist". Watch it before you criticize.

Doug Flutie was a very good QB in any league... just got black balled a bit early on because he went to the USFL and his height.

I remember when people on here thought he was the heir apparent to Philip Rivers because he got a spot on their practice squad, then ripped on Miles for not starting him.

Miles did start him. He pulled him too. Things happened. LSU lost. get over it.

Maybe not after 2014.

Dude has a Marino like super quick release. Give him some pass protection and I think he can do well in this league. Take that opportunity to keep playing a "game" for a living as long as someone is willing to pay you. Best wishes to the young man.

I agree with you. It's a fun game to watch but remember, this is the Rant. They don't like being told what to do. Maybe if you ask them to watch it before they criticize, they will.

Gotcha.

Ranters, perhaps you would like to watch some CFL games, and then decide if you like it or not.

That good?

I happy JLee is getting another shot. He was a good Tiger, in spit of the controversy that surrounded him.

There's a reason why NFL "rejects" go to the CFL and arena leagues. It isn't because they like the pace of the game or the scenery in Vancouver.
Say what you will about the "finesse" of the CFL, the caliber of athlete in the NFL versus that in the CFL isn't even a discussion.
It may be fun to watch and all that. But the fact remains, the CFL is the minors. The NFL is the Big Leagues.

LSU won that game.

Lee and Jefferson were both terrible quarterbacks.
