Who cares? Pay the man 10 million if you want, the LSU athletic department makes a huge profit every year, overpaying a coach will not hurt us at all or our chances to go get a top coordinator

This is the most unqualified hire in big 6 history. No big 6 program has ever elevated a position coach to hc. We are the laughing stock of the sec today.
We JUSTLY(it was time for a change) fired one of the most successful coaches in sec history, not just lsu history, so that we can begin vetting coaches and let agents know we are in the market for a head coach. For 2 months our AD came up with all of 2 names. When they said no he hired a 55 year old career dline coach that has never ran a successful offense, defense or program. Alleva must go.

So get me get this straight? Ed orgeron doesnt have shite to with the offense yet he gets the credit for how we have looked on while he is interim hc but he doesnt get the criticism when we lose to a 14 point underdog at home while they were missing tons of defensive starters?

The love affair some of you have for a coach that just 5 years ago was labelled a lsu hater is mindblowing.

Nothing. He does nothing. During his interim tenure he didnt run the offense nor did he run the defense but im supposed to be ok with this hire? His best attribute is not knowing enough about running an offense or defense to get in the way. So his ability to do nothing is his best attribute. My god how the mighty have fallen.

As they should. Coordinators have actually done something of substance. We hired a career dline coach that wasnt successful enough to keep the ole miss job.

Haha wtf can you read? I responded to the comment that asked what he does. I said that he blames the best player on the team for losing to Florida (orgeron said Guice went the wrong way). Where did you find the love affair in that

Les was set to make $4.3 million. O will likely make around $4 million.

It's crazy and yet if he wins a natty they will still find a reason to say it was not his own doing.

Win, lose or draw you can't please everyone. Some would not be happy with Herman.
Some would not be happy with Fisher.
Some are not happy with the hiring of O. But we need something better than what we have had. You only think LSU is a laughing stock if he loses a lot of games again but with the right hires I believe he can and will turn this program around from what Miles left as a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.
