I understand your argument, but there are many that think the future starts now because the West is decided at this point. I don't think you just shelve Lee at this point just to give JJ time, but he needs to be brought into the gameplan and put into game situations. If he can run the "RP Package" effectively, then I would rather see him thatn Hatch next week since Hatch is a complete dead end.

Nope. Lower tier opponent should have been the opportunity to take a green QB and get him some game experience. Which we did, after Lee began to kill our offense.

maybe because if we had a good QB they wouldnt have been able to stack the line... maybe? Isnt that a rational thought?

You just made my point, thanks.

thats not asking for proof that he wont... I want your proof for this guarentee... I mean, if you can prove that he will be better long term, I will agree with you.

so in your opinion, we should play fifth year seniors like ryan miller and pep levingston and upper classmen like curtis taylor, danny mccray, and chris mitchell, over young studs like patrick peterson, ryan baker, karnell hatcher, and terrence tolliver, because they have more experience now so they give us better chances to win these meaningless games. Is that what you're arguing? just want to be sure...

You have all this figured out based on his play in one game correct?

Seeing as how JL is superior to JJ, and JL will start every year he a Tiger... Not to mention Russell Shepard will take the running QB role next year. JJ will be a really good bench warmer, though, mostly due to his large stature.

nothing to do with the fact that Troy threw for 180 yards in the FIRST FUKING QT.

Couldn't agree more, but the RP package got thrown out the window bout the time we went down 24-3. from that point on, JL is our only hope

well if you believe these games are "meaningless" then I guess we are at a dead end for this conversation... I mean, I would like to win out and win a good bowl game. Maybe you dont? I dont know, it sounds like this year is over for you and you are planning for next year. If so, great, see you next year.

We don't know what his skill level will be a year from now, but is obvious to anybody with a brain that JJ and Russel Shepard are both better fits for GC's offense. There is no debate here. If Lee is the best of the bunch, then we have 3 years of rotating QBs to look forward to.

Prove that Lee will ever be more than mediocre, and I might agree with you.

RP was awful throwing his RS fresh year, remember he threw a mean bounce pass. . .people were whining about him being overrated after he had only thrown 10 passes that year.

Once he began getting a large share of practice snaps?

Yeah, a SECCCG MVP that only put up 13 points against an extremely mediocre Tennessee defense...

Once again, if lsu could have converted 3rd downs and moved the ball, the d wouldn't have been on the field the entire 1st half.

Go roll your eyes in the mirror

it's not like, the defense locked down, the o-line started opening up the running lanes, and the WR's started making plays, or anything like that. it was like it was 11 on one out there. quite miraculous really.

Prove that JJ will ever be able to hit a WR, read a defense, or understand the playbook....BETTER THAN JL, then we'll agree with you
