Did u seriously argue that without jl lsu would have lost by 30?

It was quite apparent that because of jl lsu was down by 30

Yeah, LSU was down by 30 because Lee couldn't stop the Troy offense, right? Yes, LSU would have lost by 30+ without Lee. JJ was lost. JJ will transfer before it's all said and done.

the defense let Troy march down the field like 4 times in the first half, it wasnt even close. Our defense played like a sack of shite until late in the 3r
That is why they scored.

Now about when WE had the ball. . .

With a competent QB, we would have been leading at the half.

You are ALL missing the point. We saw Gary Crowton's REAL offense at times last year and it was VERY effective. Can Lee run that offense? No. Have we recruited a drop back passing qb since Crowton arrived? Will we? NO. Lee was Fisher's guy. Even with his flaws, he is the best full-time option right now, but I have to hope that he will eventually be elypsed by JJ or Shepard down the road. If not, then we are not running the true offense of our OC.

No, he's not kidding...we had how many first downs at half? 2? That's the defense's fault? D sucked just as bad, but the offense was equally to blame.

You have all this figured out based on his play in one game correct?

wow you are really going out of your way to prove your incompetence. like i already said, JJ will be better LONG TERM. he needs GAME EXPERIENCE. if we would have lost this game then so be it, but as a team we are not any better or worse than before this game.

JJ has taken 10 snaps as a LSU Tiger and he will be better than JL longterm.

Did somebody tell you that? was it a dream you had, did god tell you? how about a crystal ball?, you have one of those I bet.

Correct, but Lee gives us the best chance to win...AT THIS MOMENT... that's all that matters

and sorry, but if you think all we needed was a competent QB to be leading at the half you are more retarded that I thought. And I will allow you rantards to debate on this board while I snicker at the computer screen

Why wouldn't it?

They stacked the line to stuff the run. A competent QB should have lit up an undermanned secondary.

just curious, how many rushing yards did we have in the first half.??
last i checked first downs can be gained runnign as well as throwing. .... with that said that means you have to factor other people like lineman and rb's in.

Hmm...

A. A pick six

B. Unable to convert 3rd downs early kept the defense on the field the entire 1st half

C. With lee at qb troys defense had no fear of a passing game so they did a great job against the run.

So yes, he was the reason lsu was down big early

maybe because if we had a good QB they wouldnt have been able to stack the line... maybe? Isnt that a rational thought?
