Example of Les's lack of support:

What does Montgomery being cut by the Texans for being a fricking moron have to do with Les?

Sam was only an example. A young man in trouble could use some guidance, and Les isn"t there for him. He's too busy bashing him for poor workouts.

The loss to Ole Miss Saturday was indeed, in large part, CLM's fault. I'm tired of hearing praise for him actually owning up to his mistakes for once.

Les doesn't back his players is my point. And my op

Anyway, some people have made up their minds that change is futile, and maybe it is sometimes. A spark in the third qtr could have changed the game, so you never know

Yea, in that game throwing Lee in there wasn't even an option imo. JJ couldn't avoid their rush, so JLee would have been even more of a sitting duck.

I don't think JLee was even a viable option that night, he got like zero snaps in preps for that game.

He'd been written off before kick-off.

Les that frickin clown,,,looked like an azzhole on that one....Man it is whatever....it was that ole miss defeat that i stopped taking Losses hard. Just think if it wasn't for witnessing that shytcake....I would have killed myself after the loss to Penn State, Loss to Arkansas 2010, loss to bama 21-0, the loss to Bama BCS, and especially the loss to Clemson. Multiple times I would've offed myself if Ole Miss 2009 did not happen. Thank god for Ole Miss.

High school coaches do the same sort of things when colleges come calling about players.

If a player constantly skips workouts and meetings the college and NFL teams who are recruiting/scouting them deserve to know they are going to get a half assed effort.

funny how those players keep getting playing time though.

this

think La'el Collins isn't bitter about being called out by his own coaches?
Anthony Johnson? Jonah Austin? Kwon Alexander? James Wright? Micah Eugene? Dwayne Thomas?

If you have a problem with a kid's performance, FIX IT! Don't be childish and expose it for the world to see.

Calling a player out for his performance doesn't equal being thrown under the bus.

It's called motivation.

You think the players are content with that last game?

To put it in perspective...

If you make mistakes in your current relationship and cheat on your wife... it is then ok for her to post on facebook how worthless you are?
It's motivation for you to be a better man though right?

It is posted on strength coach Tommy Moffitt's office window. Les Miles is the head coach, so yes, it is a message from coach Miles

Easier said than done.

First of all, coaches reserve the right to 'motivate' their players the best way they see fit. Sometimes, a little talking to does the trick, other times a foot up their arse does the same.

To even think the average college player is above a good coaches' arse kickin' is nieve, Only the Clowney type players get that, the other 99% are, and should be, fully subject to their coach putting a foot up their arse. Just the dynamic of any given football team.

To say the coach/player dynamic has suddenly changed, and further that star player's deserve special treatment is simply ridiculous.

Hell, I'd argue the star player's need that prooverbial foot up their arse moreso than the player just there on scholarship getting a free education.

You seem to have a warped view of what college athletics is all about.

Terrible comparison.

The head coach calling me out for not playing up to my potential would make me want to play better. Especially looking back at the games where I, as a guard, QB, Defensive lineman, what have you.

None of these kids are married to the program but they are surely dedicated to it.

You're saying our players are worthless?

Ok, so Ware, Simon, and Montgomery are already declared for the NFL draft...

Their career at LSU is OVER! For the organization to downplay their draft stock is simply a disgrace. If anything, keep your mouth shut and support the young men who came through, and will represent your program.

You quoted from the response that said the sign is private, not that it isn't obvious. Are you just ignoring that part? And you're talking about Montgomery. The only way your posts make sense is if you think that picture is from this week and that it was intended to be sent out to the press. Neither of which are true.

"they lack the self-discipline and motivation to take care of their responsibilities" and "they only care about themselves"

people that behave like this are generally worthless, do you disagree?
