For the Trees (First Timer, go easy)

So last week I told my Gump friend that all we needed was KState and Oregon to lose and Auburn to rise up and take revenge for Bama killing those trees.

He told me to lay down my crack pipe, which was understandable, given the fact that there has never been a situation where a 3-8 unranked and fairly pathetic team has gone into a rivalry against a 10-1 #2 Ranked team and actually beat them. Well ok, there was that one time when a 3-7 team (Pitt) went into the Backyard Brawl against 10-1 #2 Ranked WVU and made RRod Cry (made me cry to actually!) but that was different, right..? hmmm…

But here's the thing, there is a price to be paid for killing folk’s trees, I'm just saying.

They kilt them people's trees and if you go over on the SECrant they are still taunting the Barners for that dastardly deed.

So when Baylor rolled KState up in a zig-zag and smoked em, I asked my Gump friend to help me find my crack pipe and he laughed.

When the Cardinal rose up with their 10' mascot and struck a blow for trees everywhere, I asked my Gump friend to help me find my crack pipe and he didn't laugh.

Now he's just nervous, because it's Arbor (Auburn) day and like the rest of Gump Nation is about to realize, there is a price to pay for killing people's trees!
