I just have a hard time believing he beats out da badger at PR
Mathieu is a great player. But he is not in Todd Kinchen's class as a punt returner.

I played flag football with Todd after his NFL playing days. He was still ridiculous even after all those injuries.

Certainly...He is/was electric and awesome.

I don't profess to be an expert at this, but I ain't bad. I love every LSU athlete, and wish them nothing but the best, but Kinchen was a better athlete than HB, and HB is in the greatest niche he'll ever be in. When he leaves it, that's it. I hope I'm wrong of course.

My dad owned a gym in Baton Rouge and he told me Todd used to come in in a trench coat and do box jumps with boxes almost as tall as him without stretching or anything

Just gonna go from memory here.
In high school, Todd was all state DH on the state championship baseball team, leading scorer (IIRC) and all state on the state championship basketball team, br advocate athlete of the year, state high jump champion, and the crap he did on the football field topped it all. I think he only ran a 4.6 40, but his acceleration and lateral movement were just crazy.
I know he was all-state at RB, DB, and was State MVP.
And my all time favorite was in HS, coming out at the 2nd half of the state championship game, the coach had Trafton (now Dunham) guys line up on the wrong end of the court. The opposing team followed b/c Trafton had possession.
The ref blew the whistle and kinchen takes off toward his basket at the other end of the court. They throw-in to him and he is sprinting full bore to the basket at the other end, unguarded, and proceeds to unleash a 360 and just about ripped the rim off.
Keep in mind, this was an all-white Princeton-like team. Half of practice devoted to defense. The final score of the state champ game was 41-39 after THREE overtimes.
Imagine the reaction when kinchen busted the 360 at the PMAC. There were numerous occasions in HS where the opposing team fans would end up cheering for Trafton because of Kinchen's almost superhuman exploits. It happened once during a state quarterfinal playoff game vs Lake Providence.
But i can tell you right now the guy would give up every one his athletic accomplishments to be remembered for his faith. He is a man of true character, as are his father and brother Brian (who released a book within the past couple of years).
I tell people all the time that i have never seen an athlete do the 'freakish' things Kinchen did. He was truly a phenom.

Dude was fast as my dick is long.
You must have a whopper.
