it would have only taken a slight wind from the right to make that last field goal, and NO ONE would have been praising Miles' "balanced" attack of 3 to 1 runs today. I don't believe that the end results justify the means.

There are people praising Miles for a balanced attack? Link?

You think that if MSU scored 16 in the fourth quarter with only 6 minutes of possession, we would be blaming the offense?

The O bailed the understandably gassed D out by killing that clock.

For fricking fricks sake, let it go. We won.

This is like bitching after banging your wife because it wasn't the position you wanted.

7 points and numerous 3 and outs is "killing the (sic) clock"? You're a special kind of stupid.

My problem with Miles was the last quarter offensive game plan which was down right pathetic. I liked what I saw for the 1st three.

17:42 to 12:18 2nd half time of possession.

Want MSU to have a couple more minutes with the ball? Put it in the air!

Shut the frick up, sidewalk.

Held the ball for 9 minutes. Defense only had to play 6. Thank goodness!

Just get a damn first down in the 4th qtr, stop running b/w the tackles against a 9-10 man front. Don't have to air it out but run a sweep, zone read, something off tackle, or a screen (foreign concept I know).

Our D-line is thin and yet we are asking them to make 4 stops in the 4th Quarter because our offensive imagination stops at toss dive.

So you think the kicker would not have tried to compensate for said wind and end up still pushing it right? This has to be one of dumbest things posted today, and that's saying a lot.

The kicker missed, we won, move on.

Nah. What happened works. What you're suggesting might work.

The people on the sidelines are smarter than you and have had more success at their jobs than you will at anything.

Yeah because we game planned for a delay of game penalty on the last drive. We were 10 seconds away from blowing a 2 TD lead to a team that is likely to finish with no more than 7 wins. That same strategy has consistently cost us games under Miles, why is that so hard to understand.
