You have learned nothing. 3 very solid hires for major sports. No drama. No lies. No embarrassment to LSU. He already has the wheels in motion. Will hire a very very very great coach. Probably already worked out the sanctions with the NCAA in return for him firing Wade. Keep underestimating how smart this guy is and you’ll lose every time.

Woodward has made two solid hires in Kelly and Johnson. Trust in Wooodward.

Well, we can look at his hires at Texas A&M now that they have had time and they aren’t good. It’s easy to say all these hires will eventually do good. But the only thing we know is that his hires at the Aggies all ended up doing pretty poorly.

I think your right but this has the potential to piss off many LSU fans if he messes this up. You fire a successful coach and if the allegations are wrong this will be a huge mark against him.

Yes but our football and baseball programs are powerhouses. It’s going to be extremely hard to replicate what we had with Wade. And the Buzz Williams argument sucks arse because he has been extremely underwhelming at A&M until the last 4 days.

Mulkey fell in his lap.

Jury is still out on Johnson and Kelly.

His mistake is thinking firing Wade is going to appease the NCAA. It’s not, they are going to use that as an admission of guilt and hammer the basketball program. That is why you ride it out under Wade until the process is over.

No coach worth anything is going to come to a school facing these sanctions. We will be playing on Wednesday of the SEC tournament for the foreseeable future.

aTm could win the SEC but somehow that’s not doing good for Buzz. I know we hate Jimbo but he isn’t too bad at aTm solid class coming in.

I'm hopeful but it is going to be tough with the penalties that are surely coming down.

Well people do continue to grow and mature and become better at their jobs over a period of years. It can be a process that can hopefully continue over a long period of time. Learning, continuing to gain experience, and networking contacts building and improving the whole time. Maybe Woodward is not even yet at the top of his game as an AD. I think the LSU athletic department is in good hands with him.

If you can't see the difference between LSU football and baseball to LSU basketball you want understand the disaster the basketball ball program will be. Football and Baseball are national brands that are top jobs that coaches want. Even with that going for us Woodward still almost messed it up.

No coach worth a damn will want to coach this disaster of a basketball program. They will look at the uncertainty of the NCAA violation, the crap facilities, and our crap recruiting base and tell there agent to reject any call with a 225 area code. This is what everyone feared Woodward and Tate would do to the football program fortunately for us the Football program is to big to fail. But LSU Basketball died for along time today.

I agree great hires but JJ hasn’t done anything yet, so u baseball couch coaches slow your roll, he’s got at the very least 5? Major leaguers and has gone from #3 to #14 in a month. I love the hire but don’t fool yourselves, he don’t have the notches of Mulky even Kelly yet.

I feel like the jury may be reaching a decision on this one,and it doesn't look too promising.

True but Mulkey, Hall of Fame Coach, was ready to come back home.
Do you believe she would have left Baylor to go to A&M?
