Just as long as he doesn't show up shirtless and in a pair of Cajun Reeboks...

Orgeron walked through hell and back.
He was looking like DiNardo for a minute in 2017.

The majority of my Texas buddies aren’t scared of LSU at all, mostly because they feel the same way about Orgeron that LSU fans feel about Herman. They don’t respect him and they think he’s a joke. Texas fans feel that LSU will have a tough time scoring points with Ensminger’s offense. They do, however, admit that Aranda is a damn good DC.

Bookmarked and will bump. Thx.

Who the hell said I got arse hurt? I enjoyed the conversation and told them don't expect the same results in Football. You're assuming I got arse hurt right?

Do you live in Austin and/or happen to know a lot of people who are Texas fans? If you believe that Orgeron is respected here and that Longhorn fans are scared of him, then you've got another thing coming. Very few people outside of Louisiana think that Orgeron is a good coach. I can tell you that Texas fans were sweating bullets when it looked like Herman was headed to Baton Rouge. They were hoping and praying that LSU would frick up the hire, and low and behold, Alleva did. Although I never believed that Herman would end up in BR. He and his wife are both UT alums and love Austin.

The O sycophants are the ones who want everyone to believe that it was a good thing that LSU ended up missing out on Tom Herman. While there was some grumbling among the Texas fan base after the Maryland loss, most are firmly in Herman's corner and are excited about the future of the program.

Football is a totally different kennel of fish. I think Coach Oeaux will have the Tigers ready when they enter into Austin the first week of September.

I'm actually more concerned about Georgia Southern in Week 1. Now THAT could be a sticky wicket.

Not. Two different kennels of fish. Texas football isn't as good as what we saw in the Sugar Bowl, just as LSU football isn't as bad as the loss to Troy. We ready to wreck shite in Austin Sept. 6.

You would trade EVERY RUN scored by our baseball team in it's entire history to beat texas 2-0 this sept. on a last second, bs call in LSU's favor, just like 99% of other tiger fans would.

Orgeron took over a sinking ship.
Truthfully it could have gotten a lot worse.
To say Texas fans think Orgeron is a joke..is not totally true.

Not going to say he has LSU to elite status or anywhere near that.
But the guy was able to turn around LSU rather quickly.
The program was a mess in Les Miles' last 2 years and Orgeron's first full year.

Most Texas fans would argue that the situation Tom Herman walked into was as least as bad as what Orgeron inherited from Miles. I don’t know a single Texas fan that thinks Ed Orgeron is a good coach that is capable of returning LSU to elite status. Most feel that he will be fired in less than 3 years. I guess we’ll see who’s right in September. Orgeron has very little margin for error next season. Anything less than 10 regular season wins should be considered a big disappointment, especially since he recently received a raise and contract extension.
