Football season ticket invoices

I called the LSU Ticket Office today to find out when the invoices for Season Tickets for football would be sent out. The worker told me that it would be in a week or so. She told me that the deadline date would be May 31 for paying your season ticket invoice. I told her that it doesn't give people a lot of time to pay the invoice. She said that is what it is.
There is disconnect in communication from the LSU Athletic Department lately. My almost missed his Tradition Fund Payment because of this. With this this as well as the fiasco of no Spring Tiger Tour and poorly publicized autograph session for the Spring Game, LSU dropped the ball in relation to its treatment of it's many long time supporters.
Lately the Athletic Department, The Marketing Department and The TAF is becoming Arrogance meets the Gang That Can't Shoot Straight. One just needs to remember the fiascos of last November and the end of basketball season to further add credence to what I am posting.
This falls a lot at the feet of Mr. Joe Alleva. He isn't directly involved in marketing and TAF or Ticket Sales, but all of this flows from him. He is the CEO of LSU Athletics. I have long been a staunch of Mr. Alleva in the past, but the events of the past 6-8 months have certainly given me pause and forced me to reconsider my level of support for him.
I hope that these problems are temporary because LSU can not just worry about the big money people. They can afford to dismiss the concerns of the every day supporter.

You do know you do not need the invoice to go to the ticket office or call the ticket office and make your payment.
They will pull your account up and you can make a payment.

Well, I asked that on the phone and the girl working told me that I couldn't pay because they don't know how much it is yet.

Not truer I called an hour ago and was told could not pay until later in week or next week.

I think this had a lot to do with the state budget crunch. I'm sure there was probably some talk about raising the tradition fund to cover cuts that may have hit the academic side of the university. They also have to decide how they are going to handle the sales tax issue (eat the tax, or pass it on to the season tick holder). They may have also been waiting on a ruling from the state on if the tax rate is based on the date of the event or the date of the sale. In case you didn't know, from April 1 - June 30, the rate is 5%. On July 1 it drops to 3%.

You really have to live under a rock to miss the payment of something due on your LSU account. LSU sends an initial email, reminder emails, and a hard copy. Typically, there is a blurb in The Advocate about ticket deadlines too. Even if you miss, LSU calls a day or two afterward to check on status before they cut the cord.
If anything, you should fuss that LSU still pays the postage to send out hard copies of invoices.

Then I still don't understand the issue, you are not late making payment and if they are not accepting payments you still have time to get it in either in person, online or over phone when the time comes.
My payment is made on May 31st every year.

The ticket office has screwed up my TAF payments the last three years and the website "upgrades" are shite and mostly don't work.
You would think that as big of a money generator football is they would make sure that the ability to collect and process payments works when people "want" to give them money!

You do not have to pay the full amount May 31st. You can pay one third then, one third in June, and one third in July.

In case you haven't figured it out yet, Tradition Funds/TAF is ALWAYS due March 31 of any given year (unless they extend it for some reason. This is the first time I can think of that it has been extended.)
In the same regard, football tickets are ALWAYS due on May 31 of any given year.
Just circle those dates on your calendar from now until eternity.
