I'm not getting into one of these debates.

Both are gone.

Jordan Jefferson SUCKED TERRIBLY.

End of story. Time to move on.

just showing you some light.

There's no light to show.

He was far less efficient in all of his "games" he played.

Lee went through Oregon and WVA with better stats and efficiency than JJ vs Arky. So no...he was not better vs Arky than Lee was against anyone else.

That's some light for you. EFFICIENCY.
If you think yards are what its all about, ask Matt Stafford how those 400 and 500 yard passing games felt when he lost.

Both had their limitations and you have to be in denial to think LSU would have even been in the NCG if he hadn't been pulled.

And you have to be in denial if you think we beat Oregon, West Virginia, Miss State, probably Florida, Maybe even Auburn, with JJ at the helm. Maybe some of them but definitely not all of them.

No revelation there.
As said, both had their limitations.
I just say what's uncomfortable to those who are convinced one was better than the other.

"Another false myth. Outside of Uga , the tigers put up more yards with JJ under center and he had the best game of either qb against Arky."

You might want to edit that statement. JJ did what in the national championship game? His other 2 games were against WKU and one of the worst Ole Miss teams in history

I'm not the one trying to prove all that shite, so I wouldn't be in denial. I think UF may have been closer, UK more of a blowout
I'll just say when facing similar levels of competition, the team with Jefferson had better results.
Stack Oregon vs Arky, WKU vs NSU and OM vs UK (ok OM was shite but WKU>>>NSU) and check.
Why does this bother you so much?
Both are LSU QBs in the history books.

Come on, we would have beaten everybody on our schedule except Bama with ME at the damn helm.

I don't recall Lee throwing for 100% or having a game with better RAT.
Because it didn't happen.
You're wrong again. Sorry.

Wonder which QB enjoyed the game with the biggest?
You should really hit the books so you won't fail so bad at your agenda.

Lee did great in his capacity and JJ did great in his capacity. I'm just showing there wasn't a big difference except for the level of competition faced. Both faltered badly when facing great defense

Oh by the way for OP,and other 'tards who think the D scored all the TDs:
the 2011 Offense is 2nd in LSU history for OFFENSIVE TDs, (that's passing and rushing only).
Also pretty sure 2011 is 4th in Total O, so if they look at the book, 35.71ppg isn't all they'll see.

Peace out

Another false myth

Actually, this may be one of those rare true myths:

SEC PASSING EFFICIENCY
Year: 2011 Thru: 01/14/12
Minimum: Pct. of games played 75 10 Attempts/Gm

1 Jarrett Lee, LSU
2 Tyler Wilson, Arkansas
3 Connor Shaw, South Carolina

in all 14 games last year....but watching that offense it wasn't very "efficent" I bet 5 years from now we will forget how shacky the offense was looking at that stat!

on another wierd note....LSU scored exactly 500 points last year...wish it would have been 522!

Just shows how good the special teams and defense were to pull up the slack!

I fell that if Mett can get the offense to above average offensive powerhouse and our defense should reload in spots and be amazing again. LSU will be positioned well to make another run!

I love baseball but i know it's coming to an end in about a month (with the Tigers dog-piling in Omaha) and then my footbal withdrawls will start kicking my arse full force!

The offense didn't have to be explosive because we had tons of short-fields and always dominated field position. We were afforded the luxury of being incredibly conservative, & ground people to dust, which were exceedingly successful at.

LSU next year won't be terribly different, but you'll see the running game probably be far more dominant while actually running it less. The thread of the pass-game as well as the play-action will yield an unmistakable lethality.

2012 will be better than 2011.
