"Besides mentioning the name "Baton Rouge""

Look, I would be fine with doing away with all of the piped in music and I certainly won't tell anyone what is or isn't a good song (and I don't like Garth Brooks, either) but this is a silly comment. The NAME of the song has Baton Rouge in it and there is the spot in the song where everyone yells, "LOUISIANA." Again, you certainly don't have to like it but it's pretty ridiculous to argue that the song doesn't have something to do with Louisiana.

Seems like a good enough place to ask this question:
If you were going to be dropped off before the game (say around 3pm) and picked up after the game, what would be the best spot for that? I'm willing to walk pretty far to avoid traffic as much as possible.

I'm pretty sure we also played Boogie Down, Holiday, Calling Baton Rouge, Crazy Train, The Hand That Feeds, Jungle Boogie, Love Drunk, and Blame It On The Boogie...so that's 2 more than you had for ones you didn't know. We didn't play all of them in their entirety if it was a short break/timeout, plus we occasionally let the drumline do their own thing (which I think was at least 2 or 3 times last night).

Any chance that Boogie Down and Ants Marching will go away soon? Tiger Band has been playing both of these outdated songs for years and years. I wouldn't mind if y'all stopped playing Jungle Boogie too. Are they some kind of Tiger Band tradition or something?

These are 3 of my favorites...no matter how old they are.

I don't remember hearing the ever ghey "Hey Baby" the first 2 games...did that go away too?

Didn't they play it at the end of the game?

I was there until the clock hit 0:00, then bolted quickly...I was ready to get home. I missed the alma mater after the game...but I was there til the end. When did "Hey Baby" happen?

id like to see more ads. It would be awesome if we could triple the ads on the side of the scoreboard and maybe try to get our actual video screen to 90% static ads and 10% used for the actual game.

still think most of what comes out of the speakers is shite as it pertains to music, but to each his own.

I defend the student section more than anyone on here. But they have completed ruined every cheer we have that is accompanied by a motion. Now every hand gesture is the fricking "neck" movement and none of them have any idea how it is supposed to go. Drives me absolutely insane

I mean if more ads = more revenue, why draw a line anywhere and stop with this stuff?

TGBFTL has not played Hey Baby or Living on a Prayer yet (or maybe I missed it). Both of those get the crowd into the game.

Bass and speakers were better (obviously someone is monitoring this board).

Students need to listen to the band play and then sing. They ruined the alma mater and the National Anthem by singing too fast.

Pretty sure they played Hey Baby in the 4th Saturday. I don't think I've ever heard them play Pour Some Sugar on Me. Is that new this year?

MUCH better.

Where do you sit? The speed of sound isn't the same all over the stadium.

I gotta good gripe...last few yrs I've been sitting in the NEZ (so I can misbehave w/ the kids)'cuz daughters had student tickets; babygirl graduated so we sat on the west side. Around 3rd quarter my nicotine fit drove me in search of a bathroom...(the NEZ has those huge restrooms w/ about 8 stalls on each end,& I'd slip into one and puff away)...every damn bathroom on the West side is TINY, w/ ONE stall, usually occupied, w/ a line. Went up and down the concourse, then tried going down to next level....same tiny one-stall restrooms.

I usually just smoke at the urinal. Rarely do I hear any shite about it either. It's ridiculous that LSU expects you to leave the stadium (and not come back in) if you want to smoke. I'm not askin to smoke in the stands. I'm not even asking to smoke in the concourses. I just want 1 designated area. Even if I have to walk all the way down to the bottom or all the way up to the top. I think its worse that the guy next to me is spitting tobacco juice all over the ground than me puffing smoke in the air.

If you can't not have a cigarette for 3-4 hours then you need to take a long look in the mirror.

Only one big complaint - THE BIG SCOREBOARD WITH the little picture. I've made a point to try to notice other schools' jumbotrons on TV lately. Remarkably, NO OTHER SCHOOL seems to do what we do with our jumbotrons (i.e., devote 60% of it to static advertising). Why is that if it's so "necessary" for us?

Also, even if our "Jumbotron" were 100% ad-free it would still be much smaller than most other modern jumbotrons. LSU went cheap with this one. WE ARE LSU!!! Why does MS State have a screan 3 times the size of ours? And its not just big schools. I watched TCU and Texas Tech last week and the friggin Red Raiders have a screen twice as big as ours. Its embarrassing even without the ads. But the ads make so much worse and inadequate than it already is. The actual video playback isn't much bigger than the old SEZ scoreboard was last year.

We definitely did on Saturday

Please figure out a way to notify the student section of the actual hand motions for the cheers. They have officially changed every one of them to "neck" and none of them have any idea how the different ones are supposed to go.
