Both Eastern Carolina and New Mexico were overwhelmed. Time of possession was extremely lopsided in favor of Florida.
Eastern Carolina just got whupped.

New Mexica State not ranked in the top 50 rushing offenses

Kentucky had a more balanced time of possession. 41 rushing attempts for 115 yards with an average of 2.8 yards per carry.
Except for the fact that UK threw 2 interceptions, their passing games were virtually equal.

Tennessee is ranked 21st rushing offense w/ 4.59 average rush Average of 222 yards per game nationally.
Against Florida, they rushed for 254 yards in 54 attempts at an average of 5 yards per attempt
They almost beat Florida.
Game in the swamp.
Florida rallied to edge them out at the end. Tennessee has been losing in the last minutes of their games.

Ole Miss is ranked 50th in the nation in rushing offense with 5.33 yards per rush and 188 yards per game average.
They only 69 rushing yards against Florida but 1 interception and 3 lost fumbles made a big difference in the game.
Ole Miss was pass happy against a strong Florida secondary.

Missouri 4.1 yards oer rush.. 26 attempts 106 yards Threw 2 interceptions, committed more penalties
MO is not even in the top 50 teams for rushing offenses.
With these stats against Florida’s rush, our O Line could really do some damage for any of our backs to do some damage.

LSU 346 yards per game 7.19 yards per rush... #3 rushing offense nationally.

It's really going to be just like any game. Who wins the line of scrimmage is the tell-tale.

I like our O line on the rush block. They could improve in pass protection but that is not going to be the core of our offense this game. Not with their secondary.

I think our O Line can do this. With our run game, our time of possession goes up and gives our shallow, but good, D line a chance to get their wind.

I honestly think Florida gets blown out. I never think that.

It could get ugly if their offense can't get first downs early and we get up 2 scores allowing Cam to open up a little.
I think they score about 20
I think LSU could score up to mid 40s

This has been mentioned before, but it's worth repeating. Florida's weakness is their LB's.

I can see Fournette getting his fair share of no gains against this line, but when he gets to the second level, he'll have some huge gains.

This is the week he breaks the single game rushing record. It'll be the largest crowd this season and Miles has always seemed to have a disdain for the gators.

goes for
23 carries for 276. 3 TD's

Yes, and Fournette took Hargreaves out of the game last year too, with a knee to the head.

I doubt he or any other DB has forgotten that.

Later in the year he breaks Nkemdiche's ankle, then a couple of ribs on OM's safety.

Of course, everyone remembers the A&M Herschelesque play.

All of that played a major role in what you saw in the Auburn game.

These guys for FL are all about draft status. They will be making business decisions out there.

No, they probably remember-- I mean that might not be great for Fournette-- wouldn't want him getting Lattimored.

Look I don't want him to blow his knee out, but if you're gonna talk about him hurting players last year, you might think some players are going to try and return the favor.

I hope you aren't a pussy and take your arse beating like a man Saturday night. You have talked a lot of shite and I'm thinking you are trolling. If you really believe all you are saying I believe Saturday night will be painful for you. Florida has a decent team...but you aren't nearly at the level you think you are at. I'm not trolling at all..its a bad matchup for you and barring key turnovers/penalties I honestly believe this game gets out of hand. Troll away.

We agree. I definitely think fla players are going to try to hurt him. I mean... It was obvious he was trying to hurt UF players last year. And rightly so they should try and take out his knees.

IMO, we run them out of the stadium. Defense overrated. FLA o-line has allowed 15 sacks against subpar defenses. 55% of their passes have gone to (1) WR and (2) TEs. We should be ready to play mentally. Tigers 28-14. 350+ yards rushing

Exactly how was he trying to hurt them....by running over tacklers?

He was throwing his knees into their helmets every chance he got.

To be fair UF missed over 30 tackles against UT. I think UF wins 34-13. LSUs defense hasn't looked great against very bad teams.

Everyone's tried to take out every part of LF's body (including his head).
And no one has yet to figure it out.

That's becaus UT got to the second level. Our LBs are a small group and our secondary can cover but can't tackle great. Gonna be a tough one TJ.
