Actually backup Qbs have not been that good.. they just get big stats in the 2nd half while trailing.. but it's still in a losing effort.
The Syracuse guy had several attempts and many incompletions and even though he got his tds later in the game.. Harris still had a better QB rating.. much more efficient.
The QB this past weekend for SC had a QBr of like 55.. he had 1 Td and 1 INT.. that's not that good.. Harris QBr was over 83 in comparison..

Actually LSU has handled running QBs much better this season.. This team tackles better than years prior.. and if there is a struggle it's in the air..

Yeah, we are a smaller, faster defense built to face the spread. Harris is not trash but he is not nearly as scary as Grier when it comes to precision passing.

UF has decided to appeal. Any chance that Grier could be reinstated before Saturday or is this something that would take weeks?

I hate this crap. I want a team with no excuses. Now FL is going to be playing a guy we don't know much of and may have a team that is an emotional unknown. They could come together and play the game of their lives or come out flat and lose badly. Its hard to say now. I hate things like this and hope it doesn't come to bite us in the rear.
