I'm team alleva. every athletic director has made a failed hire or two. we're not that appealing of a basketball job unfortunately. the other times he hired the best young coaches in their respective sports (Julia Sell and Beth Torina)
The guy played college football, has an mba from Lehigh, and has the most intel on the program, and he wants les gone. that tells me a lot.
He knows that the football hire will define his tenure, and I think he'll do a good job. He did after all make the best hire in Duke football history.

It wasn't just the leak. It was the media knighting for him and saying how spoiled our fanbase was to demand better. Of course, UGA managed to escape the scrutiny because their weren't dumbasses giving a play by play on their behind the scenes.
