I believe this is where we'll find out what this team is really made of. First SEC start for Mett (on the road), some ugly drops that could come back to haunt us if they don't get corrected and a defense that still seems to be gelling together. I'll be eager to see who steps up on both sides of the ball and makes plays when we need em.

I believe you're wrong. We're basically playing a team worse than Washington. Most Auburn fans would probably agree.

It will be interesting, but frankly I think Auburn is a dysfunctional mess right now, it will be difficult for the team and the staff to completely ignore the noise.

Although Jordan Hare is a tough place to play -- I don't think that this game will really tell us anything.

Mett has shown that he can play.

The first true test will be UF where Musschamp has shown he's pretty good at adjustments that will be where we'll see not just Mett, but our game planning with a real QB

AU brother in law has been saying all season this is the worst AU team he has ever seen. He an old guy so he's seen quite a few teams.

Agreed.

We don't know much about this team yet.

They need to face some adversity and show us some toughness under pressure.

Chisik and whle Aubie team are going to be fired up to upset our arse and win respect back.

It will be a very tough atmosphere, and we will learn a whole lot about Mett and the rest of our team next Saturday.

Looking forward to a competeive game and a real test to help this team mature and get ready for more of the same.

Washington was a bigger test. The only part of Auburn that's a test is the DEs and the fact that it's a road game. We win by 30+

45-0 LSU...

and Bama's win over Arkansas will still be more impressive.

Um I think the secondary claims 4 more ints and defense 6 more sacks. McCalleb is the one I hope wé can stop. We've had our share of problems with fast backs. I'd say 45-10 like last year.

i think auburn has enough problems that we should win handily by just playing hard and tough football. now, if mett gets hurt, things may change. auburn's qb is schitzaphrenic (sp) and makes tons of mistakes and their defense isn't much better than last year. also, they don't seem to have much of a running game. of course, if the refs allow chop blocking they damn sure will participate; it's a tradition with those bastards.

Next week is not a test. More of a test than Idaho and Towson but not a test. They are horrible. We will be a 3 TD + favorite.

For the record te dropped passes seemed to be core Ted tonight unless you weren't watching the same game I was.

As a ULM student I take offense to that but as an LSU fan I see your point.

yea. but so has chavis. my concern is that our offense has not learned that (1/9). we are gonna have to counter florida's 2nd half defensive adjustments to win that game; not sit on our asses like a&m did (or stud/krag/miles did vs bama).
