Seems like we had a good amount of posts from out of state fans from other programs visiting for this game. Please post how your experiences were if you are reading. You picked a great game!

I love hearing about new visitor experiences. Especially when they aren’t a “fan” of either team. Hoping some of them see this thread and tell us about their experience.

We were sitting next to a couple of guys from New York that were big Syracuse fans. They had a great time and said it was very cool but not quite up there with a Syracuse game.

I had a couple of guys from up north (NY I am thinking) doing the bucket list thing. They were lifelong NFL guys and they could not believe what they were seeing for the whole Gameday. Even with the morning rain the crowd on campus was huuuggee. At the game the crowd never disappointed either.

Anybody in section 301 row 26 on here that talked to these guys?

I took one to the game with us.

I envy him and pity him because this is one of those MAGICAL TIGER STADIUM games! It can only be equaled, and that rarely!

You only get maybe a half dozen of these in a lifetime!

Brought a guy that is a Texas grad. He was blown away by TS on a Saturday Night. He now wants to go pull for the Tigers against A&M.

Three guys were standing off to the side marveling at our tailgate. I went over and talked to them and they told me they flew in from San Francisco. An SEC game was on their bucket list and thought an LSU/Bama night game in Tiger Stadium would be the best one to attend. They had never even been in the South before.

They were blown away by the whole tailgating scene. Tailgating for their games can only start 2 hours before kickoff. I invited them into our tailgate and fed them chicken and sausage gumbo and gave them free access to our adult beverages.

I’m hoping they post here to describe their whole experience.

I brought a friend that had never been to a big SEC game before. His response- "If I had known college was like this, I might not have joined the Marines."

Had 2 guys sitting next to me from Canada. One had also attended Auburn. Both were absolutely blown away. Never seen anything like that in Canada nor Jordan-Hare

I had three Bama fans sitting in front of me. They couldn't get over how loud it was. They left at halftime, said their ears were ringing.

We had some friends that moved from TX go to their first game. I asked her how it was, she said, "10 million times better than I anticipated." Said it was her football loving husband's dream day!

We met 2 guys/2 girls from Cali (2014) game & they all said this is the most amazing thing we've ever been a part of.

Also said we could combine USC & UCLA and not get anything close to this.

Hung around our tailgate before & after game.

We had 2 Germans stop by our tailgate. They said they have been traveling the southeast watching football games. They told us that they didn't believe anything could to the Tennessess-Bama game.

After the game we saw them, and they were just in awe. They told us it was so loud and energetic. They got sprayed with bourbon after the victory and they couldn't believe that we drank so much.

Had a former college athlete with me who had never been to Baton Rouge. Even before the game, after tailgating and seeing all the festivities, he said he'd already had a crazy experience. Told him after the game I am sorry that if he visted again he I wouldn't be able to beat that
