Just tonight (not injury related):
Devin Bush
Noah Fant
Rashan Gary
Ed Oliver (completely quit on his team mid season)
N’Keal Harry

Last year:
Denzel Ward
Bradley Chubb
Josh Rosen
Derwin James
Jaire Alexander

No one cares that Greedy didn’t play in the bowl game. They don’t give one flying frick about that. This discussion needs to end.

This has been pointed out time and time again. Of course no one in the NFL cares about that one game, but people have their minds made up for whatever reason and it's probably never going to end.

. As an LSU fan, I care that LSU players that are still part of the team do not play in their last game as a tiger.

What if he DID play the bowl game, tackled his arse off, and made a strong case? There's risk in playing, but also opportunity.

Soon college players will play only long enough to establish draft status, then quit. Could be half way into freshman year.

Add Nick Bosa to the list too, he declined to return for his team’s final games when the buckeyes had an outside shot at the CFB playoffs

Greedy is slipping not because he did not play bowl game. He is slipping because he was exposed against A&M, cannot tackle worth a shite and has trouble against big receivers.

But that’s kind of what people are saying. He needed to fix his film not “prepare for the draft.” The fact he never tackle reduces his risk of injury in that one remaining game and makes him look like a team-first guy when they wonder about his character.

Greedy, in particular, was a player who needed to play in the bowl. Instead he tried to big shot by announcing early that he was skipping the bowl. His team was forced to use offense players and walk ons in the game to even have a secondary to field. It was a New Years 6 bowl and he could have been the star of it.

Yes, skipping the bowl alone did not cost him. However, it was a bad decision, he would have been much better off playing.

For the most part I've really just seen people saying that he's falling because he quit on his team.

How do you know this? Do you sit in on the meetings? People acting like they know the reason need to stop. It doesn't help these young men to encourage them to sit out if it does affect a team's decision.

Of those 10 guys, how many only participated in one event in the combine?

I am not shocked Greedy didn't go first round. He's the best CB in the draft, but he has shown too much lack of will in the past ~4 months. And I think there's some unattractive attitude in there as well, kind of like Guice last year.

I still thinks thats part of it but tackling skills and 187 lb body weight are big question marks.

Greedy didn't look like a first rounder vs A&M and he allowed that performance to be his last.

What were the Falcons thinking when they took Deion Sanders with their first pick?

People also think one game defines a player’s career in the eyes of the NFL

This is almost as bad as the slipped his bowl squad. NFL scouts and GMs don’t care about 1 game, they mostly draft on potential and physical characteristics anyway
