I AM NOT HERE TO GLOAT!
I have previously mentioned my issues with Finebaum and his culpability in the Updyke problem and I warned people that if they listen that they should listen carefully. During the Cam Newton saga Finebaum would insinuate that he had knowledge beyond what was public and that what he knew would insure things would not turn out well for Auburn. None of the proved to be true. I heard what he said on the show tuesday (I think) and my first thought was "great here he goes again fanning the flames". I could be horribly wrong but the best thing for the Finebaum show would be the continuance of friction between LSU and Bama. Auburn is all but completely out of the national picture now and he has to keep national interest in his regional show. Sorry for busting in and it will not happen again.
FTR..Something was definitely different about the team on the other side of the field. If you need any proof looks at the pictures of HB7 on the side line. He was hanging his head the whole time.

I wonder if it had anything to do with Krag's parkinsons or a coach leaving.

My guess would be that the players had zero faith in Miles' game plan. And, after the first two drives where we did nothing, it probably continued to disintegrate. Eventually leading to some type of confrontation at halftime in the locker room.
If I had to guess, some of the players probably wanted Lee to get a shot to see if he could move the ball. Coach Miles felt like he had to be the coach and couldn't let the players run the asylum. Therefore, we got what we got.

Saban walked to where Les was on the field pre-game and acted weird by circling him and staring at him. I don't know what he said, but maybe something like: "if you lose we'll turn your family loose unharmed".
