mean Stanford lost to Northwestern last season to begin the year and came back as one of the hottest teams to end the season. There's so much overreaction on here it's sickening

Stanford has two things going for them:

1) They play in the Pac 12
2) They IMPROVE as the season goes on. LSU doesn't.

People sound like Ohio State fans after the VT game in 2014 and look how that worked out for them

OSU has arguably one of the best coaches in CFB, if not THE BEST when you consider what he wins with the talent he has. OSU is on about the same talent level at LSU, which is still a distant second to Bama, yet OSU beat Bama that year.

OSU also touts an offense that is a modern day CFB offense where their coach recruits well around that offensive philosophy.

OSU also improves as the season goes on. LSU doesn't.

OSU also plays a B10 schedule, but I'm no longer laughing at that after being DOMINATED by a middle of the pack B10 team.

That said, play calling has got to change.

But it won't. The last decade has taught us, as well as our competition, this fact.

Everyone knows how to stop it now, even with one of the best RBs ever to play CFB.

I'm the biggest tzimme antagonist on the board but he's right to an extent. The overreaction is extraordinary. They'll go 8-4 or 9-3.

That being said, Miles needs to be fired but Alexander isnt going to let that happen.

After yesterday, where do you see wins 8 and 9 coming from?

I still think the defense is going to be great and I don't think they'll be on the field for 3/4 of the game every week.

They'll lose to bama, ole Miss and maybe Florida. Just because they've lost to Arkansas doesn't mean they'll continue to lose to Arkansas.

They have a LOT to do on Defense. I get that it is a new scheme, etc, but like the offense, our Defense looked like it only ran maybe four different looks. I don't think we ever rushed more than four, and we played VERY soft coverage.

If Wisky has a half decent QB, they easily put up 30. His "Harris" moments are what kept LSU in the game. They had wide open WRs running all over the field, not to mention they dropped several wide open passes.

Bama and OM are a guarantee. Those may even be blowouts like we experienced in the 90s.

UF and AU will be hard. I don't see us winning either. We will be outcoached in both (that's a given).

You lose all credibility saying they will beat Jax St and Southern Miss but barely.
