Time for the Bianka Bell pain train. LSU didn't play Bama in the regular season. Mascona asked Coach Torina about it early in our season on the radio, and she said something like that's good news for them. They caught a huge break. Love her fire.

We were in this same spot in the regional, and we were able to advance. Beat Bama tonight, and then beat Michigan twice tomorrow to reach the championship series.

LSU has had recent success against Bama head to head the last few years. Hopefully that continues tonight.

beth has had really good success against Bama despite lesser talent. Now the talent is even. While Hoover is LSU's best pitcher, Walljasper is a great talent. I hope she gets some valuable WCWS experience for the next few years, because LSU will almost certainly be back next year

Let's hope we play better than we did against UF. It would really suck to have the Gumps eliminate us. I assume that Waljasper will get the start.

I would think, because LSU would probably need Hoover for the potential double header against Michigan. i think Walljasper is good enough to keep Bama in check, and I think it's important to get her some experience in OKC.

Can someone explain the bracket. We started opposite Bama in the bracket and now we play them in an elimination game. If we win do we play UF again or the winner on their side of the bracket?

The two losers last night switched brackets....it's to keep from having the same teams play each other over and over. Winner tonight has to beat Michigan twice tomorrow

I can't wait to get over to the field tonight but it's been a tough day. We usually are at the tailgate but one of our softball season ticket holders, Wayne Hilliard, had a heart attack at our hotel this morning. He is doing better after surgery and insisted that his wife and son go to the game, but we're all scared that he will start jumping up and down in bed like the manager in Major League when we start whipping Bama!!
