Anybody know how exactly the drainage works at the box. The drainage performance was most impressive last night

It runs to the edges of the field and then down these things called 'drains'. From there, it connects to the central sewerage line and out to sea....

I don't know anything about the turf they installed but I'm pretty sure they used a sand/soil mix with a high "perforation" to allow the water to drain into french drains below the soil.

I know they did the football practice fields this way when they added the football ops.

Think of how a golf green drains - basically the same idea.

Baseball has fields if right have a 2% grade. the field will then drain to the warning track. I am sure they have this.

It worked great on the field, not so much in the stands though, they should have put some small drainage holes on those bleachers

Your attempt to be clever is a big FAIL.

It's much more sophisticated than that, but thanks for playing.

This picture may help give you an idea of how the drainage is set up. In those black areas are drainage pipes.

Are they called French drains because they suck the water out?
