Assuming you’re talking about just on the offensive side of the ball... Maybe. I love our top 3 WRs. I love Burrow. Our most talented RBs are true freshmen. Our O-line is a big question mark

Bottom line is O hasn’t yet proven he can put a good offense on the field. Obviously it’s been only 2 years and this may be the year, but it’s not like he’s done anything in his career to show he can put a prolific offense out there to where he should be given the benefit of the doubt. I am pretty hopeful though, considering the continuity we have from last year and the talented backs we have coming in as well.

Please don’t try to equate what you believed (which I also think is a lie) to the feelings of the fan base as a whole. This board was pretty much unanimously predicting a blow out.

Even though we’re playing in Austin...I feel very confident with this game as opposed to a few of our SEC games. I’ll be surprised if we don’t win by double digits.

I feel confident we will win. UT is quite talented but a lot of that talent is largely unproven. I think our experience and continuity will be huge. And our potentially unbelievable defense.

But while I am confident we will win I can’t say I’d be surprised if we lost.

You can spin however you want. Georgia scored in the last 30 seconds in garbage time after back to back targeting penalties. Our defense held them to less yards than LSU, and we played on a neutral field. Here's some comments from Fromm after the game.

They were showing a lot of different looks, (and) they were constantly mixing stuff up,” Fromm said. “They did a really good job with some eye violation stuff, showing you one thing one way and bringing it from the other.”

Fromm was 21-of-35 passing for 224 yards with three touchdowns and an interception, but he was also sacked twice and forced into five uncalled run plays.

Fromm, admittedly, was slow to adjust to Texas’ perplexing defensive schemes.

“They showed us what that game plan was in the first couple drives,” Fromm said, “but we just couldn’t make adjustments quick enough to really capitalize on that.”

Georgia’s 296 total yards was a season low — it had 322 in the 36-16 loss to LSU. the only other time the Bulldogs failed to accumulate 400 total yards in a game.

Georgia led the SEC in rushing this season but managed only 72 yards — another season low — rushing against the Longhorns, gaining a paltry 2.4 yards per attempt.

“They were physical up front, that’s one obstacle you have to climb over,” Fromm said. “The next thing is they were slanting this way and that way, shooting multiple gaps, and we just had a tough time trying to figure out which way they were moving and trying to cut guys out of gaps.”

Fromm said he was ready to get started on next season before leaving the locker room.

“Myself, a couple other of these leaders, we’re going to step up,” Fromm said. “We’re going to have a great offseason, come back better than ever. I’m fired up for it and can’t wait for it.”

All of that is fine and dandy but we aren’t playing the UT that beat Georgia.

We are playing like 5 of those guys and 17 new guys.

Herman lost to Maryland. Twice. Gave up over 40points to them. UGA was not interested in the Sugar bowl. Georgia was very focused on the LSU game.

Texas will create some sort of scheme to really challenge our offensive tackles. If our offensive tackles are just adequate we will win by 2 touchdowns.

Burrow and Elinger probably offset. Can shelvin and Apu play at an average SEC level. Again if they can we will win and win convincingly.

3 retuning starters on defense is a problem for them.

Their Defense wasn’t exactly elite last year with all those upperclassmen. Statistically they were the 4th best in the Big 12 behind TCU, ISU, and Kansas State.

They ran the ball 42 times for 134 yards. They didn’t gouge shite. Our shitty QB and offense cost us that game.

Yep to all of that. Fournette and Clapp whiffed at blocks in that last drive as well.

Anyway the national media types were also predicting a Miamimvictory over LSU. It was over 10 underdog at some point.

Anyway it is always hard to win on the road.

LSU should win the game by at least a Touchdown. Hopefully we get ahead and Orgeron let’s us run up the score.

Fournette was clearly hurt and Miles/Cameron continued to drag him out there instead of trying that backup running back that was kinda good

Not only that but the body language of most of the players seemed off. Some of the guys when on the sidelines seemed as if they just were not in to the game. Almost seemed like they were disapointed about something.
