from his post:

"I'm proud to announce that I will be continuing my education at the University of Texas at San Antonio formally known as UTSA. I thoroughly enjoyed my tenure at LSU and was blessed to play under the leadership of Coach Les Miles. I have the pleasure of joining a team with the same coach who recruited me from West St.John, Coach Frank Wilson. @coachfrankwilson To all my fellow tigers, coaches and teammates, thank you for a wonderful experience and I will always cherish the years, experiences and growth that I endured in Death Valley. I am excited to enter into a new phase of my life, athletic and academic career. I am more than blessed to have this opportunity to continue to pursue my dream to play in the NFL. I will remain steadfast and faithful in God and HIS plans for my life. One thing I have learned is that there are many ways to get to one destination. It's not about the road taken, but rather the journey endured. Forever LSU and Geaux Tigers! Geaux UTSA"

Dammit, Frank

Just kidding, all the best to Feist. Hope Frank turns UTSA into a monster.

Seems like a great move for all parties.

I feel like I will be rooting for UTSA a lot in the coming years.

I also get the feeling that Frank and the LSU staff will work in conjunction a lot. Obviously they aren't going to go head to head on any recruits simply because of the size schools they are but I bet LSU will be more in tune with the recruiting scene in Texas due to Frank being there and Frank will have a pretty clear picture of who he can get out of Louisiana and as transfers from LSU due to the LSU staff.

Best of luck to the spring game MVP that never saw the field. Never understood the move to fullback but that sounds like a great fit for him for one more year with Frank. If Frank had to leave at least he won't hurt LSU until he does well enough to earn a better job.

I hope all student athletes take note of how to transfer with respect and gratitude.

He gave it his best shot, he didn't turn tail and run after 1 or 2 years. He sees the writing on the wall with Beckwith returning and wants to go somewhere that he can have an impact and play a year or two.

Best of luck to him and Frank.

I've always wondered what his deal was, passed the eye test, always would seem to get talked up during camp, and then you'd never see him.

I wish him the best. We all know that room has to be made for the numbers to work with this new incoming class. Frank will have a great player now to anchor his defense. Best of luck to you Ronnie. You are a class act.

Yep I'm glad Feist is going to go somewhere with a coach he loves to get some playing time his senior year. We have to see a good bit of guys transfer so this might be the first of a few that follow frank to UTSA.

Good for Ronnie, he had been here for 4 years and wasn't sniffing the field. He will always be a Tiger.

He couldn't beat out the people that were ahead of him.
Some players just don't measure up
at the next level, as some would like them to.
That said, I wish him well.
