I know harris has stunk it up, but when he come off the field and have no coach to talk to that's just sad. they will show him on the bench talking on the phone. Its just not the same to have someone on the bench with you going over the plays. As much as I hate Kiffin At least is there to help if needed

Mett broke out as a Senior.. in the program for 3 years and another for a year.. all after transferring from Georgia.

Right. But why does that matter? Coaching is done during the offseason and practice all week. It should not have to be done face to face on the field during a game.

These kids want to play in the pros. You think they have someone holding their hand in the pros. No put in the work and make yourself better. Cam needs to coach him up but he also needs to look in the mirror and know his own flaws and fix them.

Just like playing an instrument in an orchestra--try coaching in the middle of a composition.

Brandon is 20. He is not a kid.

My point with Mett was did anyone complain when Cam was in the box in 2013?

Most will blast you for his post but I agree. A young new starter needs his guy waiting for him after he throws a pick to sit down and go over what went wrong face to face.

Do you think Cam would have been able to get Harris to start throwing the ball any better by patting him on the back and telling him everything is ok?

This whole 'we need coaches on the sidelines' BS that y'all never let go is really fricking hilarious.

what???

coaching should take place at all times.

going over things face to face is far different than a phone call.. it's just a different experience.. holds you more accountable.. can talk about things better.

i just really like idea of seeing the offensive mastermind on the field.. and it not be the HC

A 19-20 year old throws a pick on the road in Tuscaloosa. There's no way to truly prepare for that IMO.

See my question in above post. Do you think it would make Harris considerably better with Cam on the field?

Take a hard look at Brees next time he comes to the sideline. Sitting right next to the OC, going over screenshots of what happened on that series.

this isn't an important factor. The OC decides where he can be most effective. If he believes that's in the booth, it's in the booth.
