There is no universe or parallel reality in which LSU should ever be playing AT Rice

The game moved from 2024 to 2029 was supposed to be at Tiger Stadium. LSU was supposed to play Rice in Houston in 2020, not at Rice Stadium but at NRG. LSU probably would have had more fans there considering LSU's large alumni base in Houston and the 4-hour drive from Baton Rouge to Houston.

LSU playing Rice in Houston is along the lines of playing BYU in Houston (Harvey forced the move of that game to New Orleans in 2017). LSU probably would like to play in Houston because of the large alumni base and for recruiting purposes. LSU hasn''t played at Rice Stadium since 1980, and I doubt that ever happens again.

I live in Houston and would enjoy attending that game. Would be fun. Keep your snarky comments to yourself

Sorry bro. If you want to see the tigers play in person then you can get off your arse and drive to BR. The brand doesn’t need to suffer because Texas residents think they’re entitled to convenience

If we're gonna play @Rice just go ahead and do it in their stadium instead of NRG. Go all the way

Wasn't this supposed to happen during the Covid year?

Much rather lose this game than the opener. Does this mean we still on for UCLA return trip also? 2024 schedule may be brutal
