1971 LSU v Notre Dame in Tiger Stadium. QB Bert Jones and his cousin, WR Andy Hamilton just humbled the Irish. They had no for Hamilton's ability to get open. Final Score LSU 28 - Notre Dame 8.

I was a student in the dark times of the early to mid 90's, so there were no good games.

I don't remember most, but even though we lost, the FSU game was fun in '92 being a drunk college kid with no shirt on in the rain.

I saw my first one in 1984. I've been a season ticket holder since 2002.

2007 vs Florida is my fave. It was the second game I'd taken my oldest son to. The first was the deluge against Oregon State which was certainly entertaining.

‘07 florida…. Was in the south end zone when Hester broke through for the go ahead score!

‘88 The earthquake game. It was my first major SEC game my freshman year at LSU. What a way to kick things off!

‘97 Herb Tyler leads the Tigers in a major upset over number one Florida. That was one of the most electric crowds I’ve ever seen.

‘12 alabama… yes, I know we lost but man what a game. It was truly nip and tuck and one of the best atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in Tiger Stadium.

Florida 07.

Now, I wouldn’t say this is a favorite but definitely memorable - the year we came back from like 30 to beat Troy. There were maybe 200 of us in the student section.

Not my “favorite” because we lost

But 2012 LSU vs Bama was the best sporting event I’ve ever seen in person. Never been in an environment like that before and I really don’t expect it to happen again.

+1 on that game. Hard to compare when goal posts come down..... However, the 2007 Fla. game was EPIC. I wish I would have been in Tiger stadium for that one. There was another Fla. game I went to w Tebow at QB. We lost and the guy next to me (drunk arse Gator fan) clocked me w a weak left hand cross. My wife grabbed my arm and said let it go.
I probably would have decked him if he had any power in his punch. I actually felt sorry for the guy. Beating the Gators is always sweet. They are by far our biggest rival. Usually a GREAT game every year.
