First to fill, sure.

Last to empty, "bitch please."

That joke of Tiger Stadium is a disgrace to what the student section was back in the day. No longer into the game, the student section now resorts to profanities and leaving at half time to go to the bars.

I was not reffering to the SS - not sure what they were doing - but i know i could hear them till the end. But up top....different story. I think it is more of a traffic problem than a fan problem.

I didn't say no students left period.

But the rates of leaving are either on par or lower than the rest of the stadium.

And the SS was oddly enough full at the end of the game this past weekend.

Guess we were too drunk to remember to leave at halftime to drink.

I have no dog in this fight, but I was at the game and did not see lines of fans leaving until the end of the 4th. Sure there are a few old folks that'll leave early, but there was no major exodus until the end.

Also, the student section was solid this week.

What’s the big deal? I’ve left early for a several and stayed to the end for most. People leaving early do not bother me – just more room to spread out.

Look at the bright side, people leaving earlier also means less traffic.

I’ve also been to about 250+ home games – plus a few away games - so I just enjoy the game and don’t sweat the small stuff.

There is a whole big world outside of Tiger Stadium.

Wow, I am surprised, no one has yet claimed that they are a better fan because they stay.

..I just do not know why some people even get bothered by other people leaving, specially since they have absolute ZERO knowledge of their circumstances.
They paid their money, now it is their choice.
It's that simple.

I was sitting at the top of the SS and I can tell you that nobody left early. It was as loud as it has been in years, (I guess Bama 10 would be the last time it was even close to as loud and that was during the day so I think Saturday was louder) and the students brought it and set the tone for the rest of the stadium. As dumb as it sounds, It even made me smile to see the cups and drinks being thrown again during the big Hill run. Reminded me of the late 90's early 2000's when it seemed like everyone was a bit hungrier for wins back then. But the SS definitely brought it for SC.

I was tying to watch the game, but the lines of people leaving were blocking my view!

The point is not about being a better fan. It is rare that fans are able to influence the outcome of a game. Then, when the chance comes, fans leave to beat the traffic - so noise level drops and home field advantage is diminished. Lets fix the traffic issues so people can be there when they are needed most.
