Probably because he was never called out on it. Miles should have pulled him aside after the Florida game and told him never to pull a stunt like that again. He didn't. Now BOOM.

Why was it a heads up play? If it would have been completed, Ware would have been tackled almost instantly by the Bama defender. JJ has no field vision. If he would have seen that Bama defender, he would have realized the better decision was to keep the ball, use the block of Ware and run to the open space.

Completed pass in that situation get 0 yards after the catch and a keeper by JJ goes for a huge gain IMO

He was referring to the Florida game. This is a chickens coming home to roost bump.
