Did anyone have a bad experience at the game? I was expecting more hostility but the fans I sat near were really good sports during and afte the game.

I think both sides just knew both teams were so good.

I haven't seen the LSU fan horror story by a Bama fan yet. we usually see those after a loss.

I wasn't there but I'm guessing the obvious mutual respect each side had for the other team did a lot to temper hostilities.

Were you there?

If so, how loud was it in your opinion?

A buddy of mine went and said it was the loudest he's ever heard Bryant-Denny be, but that it still wasn't as loud as Tiger Stadium or the Swamp is during big games.

That was the loudest stadium I have ever heard. Period. Hate to admit it. BDS was rocking. I think it's because of the roof over the upper deck. It was hostile. Our boys were awesome.

I was there. It was loud as hell. Our guys went into the most hostile of environs and won. No one is beating them in new orleans.

Why do you hate the admit it? It was the biggest game ever, something would be seriously wrong if it wasn't electric.

I'll say this though, it didn't really come across on the television. Seemed loud, but nothing too bad.

Just hate to say it's louder than ours. It seems like everyone is on top of the field. It's very intimate if that's the right word for 100k screaming bammers. Awesome place for sure.

they are typically good fans. They have always been hospitable in my experience.

sat in upper deck of south endzone. Was not as loud as I expected to hear from up there for how big the game was. Definitely doesn't compare to Tiger Stadium, but was still a good time. The bama fans were silent when we were leaving the stadium. hilarious.

I sat in the lower bowl. 22 rows up. I felt like I couldn't breathe. It was intense. Closest thing I can compare it to was the first half of the tennesse game post Katrina

I have experienced as well as heard literally about ten stories of other accounts that says otherwise. I had a buddy call me during the day yesterday and told me about a Bama fan being a prick yesterday and making a snide remark about LSU fans being stupid. Typical stuff.

But Bama fans are far from being "good fans". Neither are LSU fans for that matter.

That's the same reason why the Swamp is so loud.

Their fans are terrible at tailgating. Only issue we had was leaving the stadium. We were behind the band and tried to tell some Gumps good game. Dude started saying how we are a dirty team and wouldnt shake my hand...so I told him to GTFO.

Nope. I had a great time and all the bama fans were hospitable. A lot of good-natured ribbing back and forth

Stadium was over-rated, their fans arent loud, we dominated in Section NN9. Sat by the best group of fans ever.
