I was told by a player that Miles doesn't like anything other than our traditional uniforms. That's why they stopped doing the Nike combat uniform games. He said Miles wants people see and recognize the "LSU Brand" when they are on television. Personally I loved the 2011 all white uniforms.

The players would come out with some extra adrenaline the first time they put those on.
EDIT: I retract my earlier statement above. I did not take a close look at what was on that helmet. I went from loving it to not just hating it, but motherfricking hating it when I saw that baby dick TOONCE tiger or whatever the frick that cartoon animal is on the helmet. Grow up, nut up and put the real thing on there!

The helmets are awful and black socks with black and yellow boots would look better, but other than that I like it. I would NEVER want LSU to actually wear those, but it would be a nice change of pace for NCAA Football if it were avaiable.
ETA: If LSU ever did another Pro combat I would like to see an all purple kit.
ETAA: Black with purple and white trim. Purple numbers with white trim. Black and purple looks slick when done right (Washington's alts, ECU, TCU).

I like it outside of the gigantic tiger logo, and it's toonces. Put a decent and smaller logo on the helmet and I really like it. I would think it is really hot in those uniforms.

I don't think there will ever be a fan created alternate uniform that people will like.
In fact, I venture to guess that a lot of unis that LSU has actually worn before as an alternate wouldn't be liked if a fan had suggested them before hand. But since the team actually wears it, it's all good.
