Yep, walk-ons won't have a uniform during fall practice. Same thing with the shortstop from Jesuit a few years ago (can't remember his name).

Same with my son when he was working out with the team in the fall a few years ago trying to walk on - no uniform. Maybe it's something in the rules but seemed odd to me that a kid makes it through try outs and gets invited to play in the fall scrimmages that they wouldn't even give them a shirt or something.
Anyway, love the updates. Bummer no one was doing the same when my kid was playing with the team.

Unfortunately, no. He had a great fall (never gave up a run) but he was told they didn't have room for him on the roster for the spring. They suggested he go to Eunice and they would keep an eye on him there. Instead, he decided to attend Junior College back to So Cal and he is now playing elsewhere.

Preferred walk on's do receive uniforms. Ryan May did have a uniform last fall. Only walk on's who were not invited to participate in all fall camp do not receive uniforms

The new guy is Bryce laird. Juco walk on. From Covington la. Played at southwest in summitt/ McComb ms. Looks pretty solid too!
