The fact that we can't predict beating bama and the thought of losing 7 straight times makes me scream FUUUUUUCK!

I want to laugh so bad. I can't take all this losing. I thought we were making LSU great again? Dammit.

Adams is a beast as is White but we've recruited those positions extremely well

Beckwith is a huge player at a thin position. Hopefully second year White is ready to fill that role.

regardless, he has alot to prove to his many distractors, I dont think he will.. I still think he will have great success next year because of many reasons.. we will be picked middle of the pack in the sec west, we have loads of talent, and if he does bring in an exciting offense where the guys are having fun running it, we could be dangerous with elmer fudd as the head coach with Aranda running the D and someone else running the offense.. god we overpaid for orgeron.. i can see it now, we do very well next year, then give him a fat arse contract and then it goes south...

I expect undefeated or 1 loss. Anything less is a failure.

Alleva made his bed now he needs to sleep in it. If Alleva is happy with 2-3 loss seasons why did he fire Miles?

No, Saban did not have to completely rebuild. Dinardo left a lot of talent at LSU. Saban mostly had to build depth and great talent at every single position.

Dinardo left the cupboard stacked at some positions and thin at others.

Offensive line was particularly thin throughout 1998 and 1999 despite Alan Faneca being a beast around that time, as a there were a lot of injuries and undersized guys starting as a result.

He needs to win at least 10 games next year.

Lsu will be a preseason top 10-12 team next year and regardless if we're actually that good is irrelevant because being ranked high preseason builds expectations.

He returns nearly everyone on offense. We are paying 2M for aranda our defense sure as hell better be at least good if not great.

I'm more worried about DL than LB. I'm not sold on Herron and Gilmore as the anchors on the DL.

Sounds just like Alabama fans. Then when they lose a game, they go crawl back into the sewer and hide until their next win. Then they're out all over the place spewing shite and flying their flags.

Miles probably has the biggest advantage of having the team stacked when took over. I'd say Coach O's team moving forward is maybe a bit less than Miles had taking over. I'd say expectation should be minimum of inbetween what Dinardo and Saban did.

Orgeron has more talent than any of them if going by recruiting rankings. Saban didnt come in with as stacked of a roster and he didnt leave Les with a top 5 class in 2005. then the hurricane happened and you bet your arse that made recruiting more difficult. 2007 had 51% of the ream from out of state.

Win the west or bust.

I think Alexander (or the great white buffalo) will supplant Gilmore at NT.
Lawrence will be a VERY serviceable replacement for Godchaux. Sci Martin and Issaih Washington should be pretty decent in Neal's spot.

Linebacker (especially replacing Riley) is definitely a concern. But that strip by Devin White is just a preview of the things to come. That kid is going to be fantastic and I don't think we'll miss Beckwith a whole lot.

Expectations.. I expect 3 losses, unless (like always) we have a poised QB who can make some great plays.
I'm not ragging on Etling at all because he has been good for LSU, but we need a top tier play caller to be better than "good."
Everyone does.
