let's take a break from the can Miles movement and discuss football

I have heard that MSU has a very good front 7 and a QB that can really execute the option. both are warning flags to LSU.

-although our OL improved in game 2, Jax did push our OL around at times and found it's way in the backfield as much as we did in their backfield.
-we struggled in the first half defending the Jax QB but adjusted and contained pretty well in the second half

we were damn fortunate to win last year (MSU missed winning FG) and and 3 years ago (won on goal line stand). in both games, we took the lead and sat on it. both were typical Miles games. I am expecting a similar game Saturday. I think the game plan will be to attempt to "outmuscle" their front 7 and win using mainly the run game with a spattering of passes thrown in. mostly on 3rd down and several real deep routes possible even to Dupre'. I expect Etling to get the start and I expect Miles to stifle him. it's his first start and Miles will "baby" him, and very much may result in us fans feeling deja vu all over again.

we will open it up only if we have to. god forbid we take a lead to halftime.

We win big. I say 38-20 with a Moo State TD coming late against the scrubs. BH leads us to a TD on our opening possession (yes he starts) but then struggles. After consecutive 3 and outs he is subbed midway through the 2nd quarter following a pick in our defensive third that leads to their only TD against our 1st unit. DE finishes the half with a late TD to retake the lead 14-10 and the rest is history.

For those old enough to remember John Bond, Fitz shattered his single game rushing record VS. USC.

The expectation? Pain.

I just don't know for which team.

I guess that we'll have Boutte back which is a plus against their more solid DL.

I give us a much better chance with DE starting over BH My biggest reason for supporting Etling is that he looks to be capable of opening up the ground and pound with the passing game. BH never could do that.

MSU QB is a monster who can run. We struggle with the QB draws and read options. They also screen a shite ton so Jackson and Toliver will have to bring thier nuts and tackle this week.

I say we stack the box and have White shadow #8 because I think Donte Jackson is going to struggle against him.

Moo States Defense isn't the great against the run. So we should be fine on Offense....(I hope).

South Carolina had a bunch of bad turnovers too, so don't let the 21-0 at half scare you.....

We will be down by 21, one of our QBs will show some success against prevent. Tiger nation will declare that one is great and solved our problems

We still lose to State, at home. Because we can't block, tackle, pass or catch.

Our coaches let em play grabass all the time

I expect what we saw the first 2 weeks.

A real struggle offensively with terrible play calling limited passing plays, basically the exact opposite of what we saw in the second quarter Saturday night.

Defense will be really good but not dominant. Unlike the Wisconsin game, I do think we have the talent at home to eek out a close win. We get a defensive or special teams score and win 17-13.

I don't give a fk who starts. If Les has a play sheet in his hands, it's going to get ugly.
