I was reading a profile on Jacob Phillips and got very excited picturing him, white, key, and chaisson on the field. Those are some absolute freaks and with aranda pulling the strings, it might not matter if LSU can't field an offensive line. This could be like 2011 where we lost key guys from the 2010 defense on each level but they got better.

I think you're right. Then wait until Key comes back. Wow!!! The DL will be strong as well. 2 deep at every position. Once Anthony, Key and Martin are back at full strength we'll be 2 deep along the entire front with little to no drop off and in some cases more talented then the ones.

Aranda was saying that Thompson was actually the best pass rusher we had. Idk about that but apparently he's decent if he's saying that. He played safety so should cover well too. It's going to be a fun year IMO. Offense will be offensive and the defense will be smothering. I think we create lots of TOs this year along with sacks.

I'm the "Anti-Sunshine Pumper", but the "Deferanda" is getting close to Bama level.

Damn it, O has got to hire a really talented and experienced OL coach to get that turned around in 2018. That's where LSU is not even close. (In coaching, current talent and recruiting of future talent)

I was reading on SEC Rant an article about how Aranda didn't even run nearly the whole defense last year. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us!

I think we saw a glimpse of our defense in the Louisville game.
