Have never seen another picture of him besides this one

Unless I missed it, no mention was made of Scott. In the highlights of prep for Louisville, he looked very good. Seems he may fit Canada type offence.

Wander what a dual threat qb like Scott or Lowell would do under Canada. The Pitt offense last year is perfect for etling. But what if he prefers a dual threat ?

Honestly think Bry. Mouten is fittin to eat in this offense . Him and some of these athletic TEs we have been getting lately .

I'm not certain on paid sites. I think you can paraphrase but not quote directly.
I thought if you linked it with the quote that was good to go?

Shhhhh don't tell anyone, they still think we have Les Miles and Cam Cameron here. They still believe we will some how suck on offense. Here's the deal even with Steve E using more option and field of play LSUs offense looked 100% bc LSU is just used to lining up and beating folks, to me this will give LSU a tremendous advantage going forward. When these guys aren't asked to dominate every opponent but to just out flank them or out smart then it will be huge. Not only that but LSU could still on any given play line up and smash them in the mouth, so that defense won't be able to play finesse with us they will have to keep playing smash mouth which will cause mistakes and teams will give up much much easier. Can't freakn wait and I'm sure Canada is just drooling from the mouth at the talent we have and can add. Like Aranda knows, it's got to be refreshing.
I saw the entire game against Clemson and Pitt shouldn't of had a chance in hell. The talent difference was just that obvious and Clemson didn't have an off game, they played extremely well on offense and defense. They started to clamp down on their run game toward the end but Matt made it very difficult for them. Now at LSU they won't be able to just take over our run game like they did Pitt and this guy is going to give everyone yes including Saban FITS and I can't wait to see that little short man jumping up and down on that field next year. It will be hilarious. Our D is going to be so much better or at least have much more depth this year. After this years results and the recruits see how much fun this team is having while dominating most opponents I think you will see many changes in recruiting and Ed O looks to be gearing up for that, if he can create a national buzz while putting on a show on O, D and ST look out nation here the Tigers come into your back yard. GT

Only
If etling wins the job. I Hv a feeling we will see more of the 2014-2015 version of Canada's offense. Scott or Harris could very well win the job. O had said he wanted to go with more of a spread. Etlings gonn have to really shine to win the job imo. If so then we will see last years Pitt offense and guys like mouton and Moore will shine

Tigers offense is finally going to turn the page from the simple arithmetic which is all Miles and Cameron were capable of teaching! Will be nice to have a coach that's able to outsmart his opponents instead of out muscling them in order to win. If he sticks around for a couple of years, offense will be epic.

Both people who asked about Scott can't spell. Shocker

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Etling emerge as the leader but have Scott run a set of plays each game as well.
This gets Scott some game experience in case Etling goes down, give other teams two systems to prepare for, and gets the team ready to run both offenses so that next year when either Scott holds onto the job, or either Brennan or Narcisse win it, it's not a totally new system.
Not that it's related other than it's LSU but Les did that with Perrillou...

And one assumed Etling can't run the spread lol. Etling showed himself to be more than mobile enough to be a threat running. Gotta "wander" why it's assumed he's slow huh?
Hell, when Etling ran it's like he was even aware of the necessary yards to gain for a first down, he didn't run scared like Harris.

Hmmm, so this guy doesnt think Etling is the guy. TIGERLEE about to whip this authors arse
quote:
The first is to find and develop QBs that can master a system filled with checks and motions to dissect defenses, and then learn to make quick decisions so that athletic skill players can make things happen. Given that their 2017 recruiting class is headlined by pocket-passer Myles Brennan and the rest of the roster is also filled with pocket passers, this is the most likely option.
The other is to try and salvage Brandon Harris and recruit more dual-threat athletes, while adopting Canada’s offense to work more like a spread system. In a system like that, the QB’s legs are a primary constraint on the defense, rather than a pitch to a FB or TE. LSU also has a four-star dual-threat QB commit, Lowell Narcisse, joining the program this season, and could choose this route.

Considering Canada tried to recruit Etling to Wisconsin, I imagine Danny is a little bit the guy.

The effect of Pitt regularly involving these guys is creating a ton of confusion for the DEs and LBs that have to add “and he may also receive a hand off or catch a pass” when they’re trying to diagnose the intentions of Canada’s players in the precious seconds before the ball crosses the line of scrimmage into space.
I bet Ducre would be a nice fit for that FB jet sweep
Posted on 2/10/17 at 1:29 pm to GaTiger27
How about an offense with Ducre, Guice, Washington or Pettigrew, our WRs and OL all moving around right bf the snap and snap while one is still in motion, give on sweep, keep to run, or keep and send all out for a pass?? That's going to be very difficult to defend.

Like I said, I'm not completely sure. But the posting guidelines say this:
