I searched and didn't see this article posted here yet. If so, i'll have my thread deleted.

This is a great article on Guice and focuses on why he runs angry. Long but worth the read.

You could have copied and pasted his name and then you wouldn't have had to guess.

good read. didn't realize Matt Hayes was at Bleacher Report now, and not Sporting News.

Amazing what he has been through. Great that he has chosen a better way. His story is still being written. Stay on your path young man!

what doesn't kill us... yup. There is fire and maturity in that young man. I wish him all the best. He is the type that just makes you proud he is a Tiger!

I hate the stuff he went through but am so grateful for the folks that sacrificed so that he wasn't sucked in the abyss.

Geaux GUICE!

I know terry and through him guice......he is easy to find, as a broke college kid, pumping up the kids from the south any given Sunday.

I tell kids don't tell me, show me...guice is gonna show us all.

I thought a lot of DG before reading that but my admiration has grown. What a great young man!

Not turning back there to the painful days of high school at a local, nearly all-white private school plopped in the middle of South Baton Rouge like a rose amid the thorns—a school that recruited him to play football, then threw him into a mess of racism and stereotypes.

"The way [Guice] runs, my guess is half or more [teams] would take him over Fournette right now," one AFC scout says. "You have to understand, it's not just highlight plays in this league. It's the ability to grind over four quarters, and yeah, it's absolutely the want and desire to run the ball."

You don't deserve to be here.
You can't even pass the entrance exam.
If you weren't a football player, there's no way you'd be here.
This isn't your school.

While people may have thought this. Calling major bullshite that anyone said this to Guice's face. One, he would have beat the shite out of them. Whoever said it would know Guice would get away with it. Two, he was good at football, no one wants to frick with that guy.

That's utterly rediculous. I do not believe that for one second.

It's not unequivocally true for every child but I can promise you way too many kids of both races don't grow up knowing how to interact with others.
