Well articulated, and I understand where you are coming from.

That being said, frick THAT NOISE! It's the very first gameday. The time exaggerations and eternal hope is right now. Come back tomorrow when we've finally got some game facts to base posi and negi tiger spin on. Right now, the tigers are undefeated and your post does nothing but kill the mood.

Your post was a big nothing burger. Wasted my time reading that.

If you don't have an opinion, or are not a passionate fan (even if you are unrealistic or manic), what's the point of coming to a fan message board and expressing it?

Your post didn't define an LSU fan, it defined a dispassionate objective observer.

Is it ironic when someone uses the word "drivel" incorrectly? Look, the whole point of this thread was to prevent an overly emotional fanbase, like ours, from melting down so frequently. It happens because they set unrealistic expectations with completely limited knowledge of the subject matter. I'm sorry you couldn't understand what I meant.

Please note the 5 posts as well from EbbandFlow. For someone who knows "so much about the Tigers"..... and to only have 5 posts?

Wasnt there ever a point in your post history where you only had 5 posts? Good detective work, Mr Holmes The idiocy on this board is astounding. I just created an account.

PS - the "positiger" and "negatiger" labels are very gay... How about I lable you "Not A Tiger"

"RELATIVE" to your Post: which is only an innocuous intoduction to future personnel slams on team members and staff. All under the guise of "Oh please don't call me a negi-tiger

Just when I thought a post couldn't get any dumber... I never slammed anyone.

Do you still hold the same opinion now?

The more I mature, the more I tend to look at things from a calmer and wiser perspective. I've watched every game for the last 18 years. It was the worst pain ever to watch LSU lose to UT in 2005 and I was 15 beers deep by the end of the 2003 championship game and still remember every moment. But I have learned over the years that I can still enjoy the things I love without getting carried away with constant knee-jerk reactions to things.

Many people who question my passion have a very deep misconception about what it means to love something and be passionate about it. I read all of LSU football news, recruiting news, watch Les Miles pressers...etc. I am as into LSU football as anyone here. The difference is that I dont get carried away with vicariously living through a bunch of kids, nor do I attach ego to the ups and downs of a team...as in "we suck" or "we did it!!!" These are people who feel better about themselves due to what a team did. I choose a more peaceful and fulfilling life than that and I feel bad for people that associate their ego with a sports team.
