Dude's a piece of shite actually. You have this wrong. Plus 90% of the time, that emotion is an act to get on camera.

Was Napier good enough to get drafted early on in college? I assume he wasn't and that his only real option was to keep working at UConn until he got to the point he is at now. Why would guys who could go pro pay attention to his situation and care?

Jones has taken a few good steps in the right direction, but he still needs to pull it together on the court. He's yet to prove that he can do it. (In my mind he's proven that he can't, but he has to have 2 more years).

It is also noteworthy Napier was a four year player who got better each year. This is the type of career every player should strive for.

Even people like Parker or Wiggins?

I think it was perfectly appropriate. None of the kids on that team did anything wrong, yet they had to pay the price.

Serious question... How do you punish a school's program without punishing guys who had nothing to do with the reason they were ban?

The UConn basketball program deserved to be punished in some way especially because they had the same problem for at least 3 seasons. Also, it isn't like UConn is the only program in the nation that was ban for this same reason.

In this case, you punish the coaches, not the players.

Some may scoff, but it is doubtful that 1-10 Connecticut is any more talented.

As much as I liked our guards, we didn't have anyone near as good as Napier or Boatright.

Neither did Kentucky, hence the outcome.

In what way? That is like solely blaming parents for their children's actions.

They have to punish the program as a whole which will ultimately make people who had nothing to do with it suffer in some way shape or form.

That is how it is with everything in this world.

I agree to appoint, but probably equal to Boatwright in general. My point is that 1-10 talent is about equal. they don't have an Obryant, maybe not even a Mickey. They may have been only 15 to 20 most talented in tourney but grew as a team not only this year but over several seasons. LSU can return to the level of top 10 to 15 but must develop the mindset they belong and start to expect to win those close games. not that far away, 4 to 5 more wins would have a different slant on the program, But, they gotta crawl and walk before they can run. Time to start running is nigh, the training wheels come off next season.
