That ball definitely looks like it broke the plane at 11:06, and man our sideline wanted a facemask at 11:30

it can break the plane but the players can push it back into the field as long as they jump and bat it back and aren't touching the endzone grass

Oh, I thought that was just the NFL. Must have them confused then. In the NFL I guess you cant?

Honestly, how do you miss that block in the back on the punt return TD. It could not have been any more visible. That is bullshite right there.

If anyone finds a complete LSU FU game on youtube, please post the link or tell me how to find it.

I saw SEC's rebroadcast but they were cutting to commercials fast and cutting off the announcer's comments (which I wanted to hear.)

I think your wrong...in college if it breaks the plane it's a touchback.

In the NFL, yes. Not in the NCAA. If a player bats the ball out of the endzone, it is ruled a violation; therefore, a touchback.

Team A snaps at the 50-yard line and punts ? The kick is untouched beyond the neutral zone when A88 reaches across Team B’s goal line and bats the ball back into the field of play, and it rolls out of bounds at the B-4 ? RULING: No foul for batting the ball in the end zone ? Illegal touching ? The spot of the violation is the B-20 ? Team B’s ball, first and 10 at the B-20 ?

No, that's not right. In college you can be standing in the end zone and bat the ball to keep it in the field of play. The instant it crosses the plane of the goal line it's a touchback.

In the NFL it's different. The ball can break the plane but the player can't be standing in the end zone. It's as if the end zone was out of bounds.

The 2007 LSU-Florida game was on that playlist right behind this one. I ended up watching the entire fourth quarter of that one! I have never seen a replay of it that wasn't unabridged. This was great!

Edit: This was in reply to CheerWhine's link.

At the very end of the screen play to Fournette starting at 2:17, there looks to be an instance of poking his eyes by a FA defender I've heard about.

I know LSU won and there shouldnt be much complaining. But, on the punt in the fourth when they pinned us near the two - the guy who kept it in play already had his feet in the end zone. Is that an automatic touchback because I thought it was?

biggest thing i noticed in this video about our defense is how freaking easy it is to block rickey jefferson

you put a hand on the guy and he falls down or spins out of control

he needs to go in there like mathieu used to do and blow up these blockers and make a play

get to the damn ball
