I felt Freeman should have been headed to 3rd on the hit no matter how the RF played it.

I think I remember the replay and Freeman had put the brakes on at 2B... then saw the ball go by the RF and started heading for 3rd

Off the bat I thought it should have been first and third also, but Freeman clearly pulled up at second and had no intentions of going to third before the error.

LSU may be a team of destiny.

This thought crossed my mind back in the SEC tournament when a wild pitch careens directly back to pap off the backstop to get the runner coming in from third base. Man, how often have you seen that happen in a college baseball game?

No I had not, but I also had not heard flatulance coming from a broadcast booth immediately preceding a sequence of unlikely events which resulted in the transposition of two athletic squads' fortunes either.

Right before the pitch that Freeman hit in the 8th.

Sounded like a shart in my opinion.

I stand corrected... thought Chris Blair said they awarded 2 on the radio broadcast

just went back and looked at the play-by-play and it was 3

They said 2 on the tv broadcast as well. I didn't realize they changed it.

So FSU had 4 errors total? They had one on the wild pitch earlier in the game. Correct? I believe they gave the catcher an error on that play for bobbling the ball and allowing the runner to score.

The errors were more a result of Cole Freeman putting some heat on them

Yep
