Jeff Landry criticizes Kim Mulkey, LSU for missing anthem | LSU | theadvocate.com

WTF? Has he ever attended a game in Tiger Stadium??? I attended my first LSU football game at the ripe old age of eight in 1967. I’ve been going to them right up until the time I graduated from LSU and moved away. I still attend at least one game a year. Never ever has the entire football team been on the field during the National Anthem. And what about the fans who arrive late, or are waiting in line at the concession stand or canceling the lease on the beer they have consumed. Are they just as unpatriotic as Kim Mulkey and LSU women’s basketball team? Give it a rest Governor Ridiculous.

This whole deal of everyone needs to always be standing at attention for the national anthem is idiotic. No one cared before Kaep made it a political statement and now every two-bit politician wants to earn cred by attacking athletes.

What ever happened to right to protest? We just ignoring the First Amendment now?

And for the record I don't think the LSU basketball team was making a protest. Jeff Landry needs to kick rocks.

A complete phony tool of a governor. I think the stats showed some ridiculous number of around 15% of the eligible voters in our state voting.

Too dumb of a population to vote I guess and those that do are largely idiots as well.

It's funny because the same people talking about certain politicians are coming after your free speech are the same ones cheering Jeff Landry and this argument on. Bizarre world we're living in now days.

That is not the point that I was attempting to make. Colin K was on the field of play and took a knee during the anthem as some sort of perverted protest. LSU football and now the women’s basketball team are multi million dollar programs. If they are not winning then substantial dollars are lost. If CBK and CKM think that having the team in the locker room focusing on the upcoming battle is important then wtf is the problem?

Tell people they have to be in their seats for the Anthem or not be let in the stadium. See how well that goes.

Just sick of the stupid politics at all fricking times. I doubt Jeff Landry even cares, just playing to his base of mouth breathing retards.
