ESPn Top 60 Games of the 2000's
They say the "Shoe" game at #36, is our best game of the 2000's. Imagine we can expect a serious difference of opinion with this. Enjoy!

Exactly. Did they not remember the 2007 LSU-UF game? That was an all-time LSU classic. The shoe game meant next to nothing for either team. If York hadn't hit the huge FG in the fog at the end, the game would have meant absolutely nothing.

The Florida game in 2007 has to be up there. Another highly underrated game was the Alabama game in 2007. If you have time go back and watch the highlights of that game. It was pretty intense. I remember going nuts in the stands when Chad Jones stripped John Parker Wilson.

For frick's sake - for regular season games, if UF-Florida 2007 and LSU-Bama 2011 are not Top 5, then their criteria are deeply flawed. Both games featured championship teams, almost certainly the 2 best teams in the country that year, AND the games lived up to the hype.
Those games are probably Top 10, Top 15 in all of CFB history - at least as far as non-playoff, non-championship games.

Not true, Florida is playing Bama in the SEC championship with only 1 loss and a shot at the playoff if not for the shoe

I mean the blue grass miracle was better than that one by a long shot. And even that one is far from the best in the 2000's for LSU.
